Kloverbox recently teamed up with MSA to curate a limited edition Beach House box.
The boxes were sold for a one time cost of $100 and promised a selection of beauty, lifestyle, and home items inspired by a beach house vacation. I normally don’t splurge on boxes with such a high price tag, but I love Kloverbox, so I had to grab one.
Let’s see what’s inside the Kloverbox/MSA Beach House Box!
I totally forgot to take a photo of the outer box (whoops!), but here’s a shot of the info card. It listed each item included, as well as additional discount codes for each one.
Thursday Friday Gold Toe Tote ($60) – I’m kinda bummed about this, only because I have SO many totes already. That said, it does seem like a sturdy, high quality bag. It’s made of 100% cotton canvas with a nylon lining that features 4 patch pocket as well as a zippered pouch pocket. I’m not crazy about the color combo and kinda wish I would have received one of the other 2 that were sent (not sure exactly what they were but the ones on the site are cute).
One Love Organics Vitamin C Body Polish ($48) – I believe this was the one and only spoiler for the box. It’s a 99% natural body scrub made with pure ingredients including Vitamin C ester, aloe, shea, and raw organic sugar crystals. It has an amazing pineapple scent that you’d swear was an actual fresh-cut, well, pineapple. So good!
Olio Studio Aqua Stripe Pillow (~$20?) – I had NO IDEA what this was when I pulled it out of the box. At first I thought it was something that needed to be inflated. haha Nope. — It’s a pillow! Obviously this would have been hard to fit into a normal-sized box, so they vacuum sealed it. Problem solved! This pillow was made exclusively for the box and I love the pretty aqua and white color scheme. Definite beach house vibes.
Goldfaden MD Sun Visor ($45) – A fragrance-free and oil-free sunscreen mist that can be used under or over makeup application. The formula is super lightweight and great for quick touch-ups throughout the day. My current moisturizer actually contains sunscreen as well, so I’m not too excited about this product.
Tatcha Enriching Renewal Cream ($39) – Wow! This is one TINY travel-sized container, yet it sells for $39. Must be some seriously good stuff! It claims to provide deep anti-aging benefits and promote “microcirculation to reduce age spots and renew appearance”. I’m a little afraid to try this because there’s no way I’m ever going to pay $185 for the full size product. Nooo way.
Hand in Hand Sea Salt Liquid Hand Soap ($18) – Hand soap!! I don’t know why, but I love getting hand soap in subscription boxes. I guess because I know it’ll definitely get used? That said, I’d never spend almost $20 for one bottle of it, but that’s what boxes like this are for. 😉 According to the info card, Hand in Hand products support fair trade labor and environmentally friendly sourcing. (I guess that explains the price?)
Thursday Friday $20 Gift Card ($20) – I haven’t gotten a chance to check out the site yet, but I’m sure I’ll find something to use this on.
While the value is definitely there, I sorta have mixed feelings on this box. I guess I was hoping for more home/lifestyle items rather than beauty, and I was kinda bummed to see yet another tote bag. A summery candle would have also been an awesome addition. Ah well. It wasn’t bad by any means. Plus, the total value of everything comes to roughly $250. Nope, not bad at all.
Unfortunately, this box sold out quite a while ago. However, if you’d like to sign up for the regular monthly Kloverbox, you can save 10% on any length subscription when you use coupon code “2LRB10” at checkout! (All of my past Kloverbox reviews can be seen here.)

I love the tote. =] the other colors were Aqua/teal (which I got and LOVE – kinda goes with the pillow) and I think Navy? You can always try swapping the tote for another color on swap.mysubscriptionaddiction.com =]
I meant that the tote was cream AND aqua/teal, or cream and I think navy.
I liked mine a lot too! I just used my tote today and for the first time going up to the pool I felt “put together” lol
Love your review of this Kloverbox and especially like all the items you mentioned!! Depending on some ladies, either they can’t get enough beauty or lifestyle/home products but that looks easy over $100 value!! Plus, you can always gift extra tote/bags instead paying for gift bags esp. for BDay, anniversary, or bag showers!

Good idea for the totes. I have sooo many! 🙂
I got a beach box this month that is a pretty new box from Adrift gifts. It was beachy items and unique in respect you see what getting up front and can nix that months box. They are $50 and a few surprises are included.
