The Spring 2016 Konenkii box has arrived!
If you’re not aware, Konenkii is a quarterly subscription box designed for modern women who want to “age fearlessly and have some fun along the way”. Every box will feature an assortment of items to “ease, educate, and empower” — but mostly to enjoy. Items will all be full sized and can include beauty products, books, edibles, accessories, and more.
Subscriptions are $49.99 per quarter, or less with an annual commitment. (You can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “ROSE10“!)
Let’s see what’s in the Spring 2016 Konenkii box!
The box! I was happy to see that they no longer ship in a plain brown box, but now have a custom red one. Nice!
A peek inside!
On top was a folded info card with a list of everything in the box, along with descriptions for each one.
Posh Coloring Book: Happy Doodles for Fun & Relaxation – Even though I never have the time to use them, I LOVE getting coloring books in subscription boxes. This one is adorable and features lots of fun, whimsical illustrations that are just begging to be colored.
Colored Pencils – I don’t see any branding on these pencils, but the info card says that they were “recommended by the artist herself”, who I’m assuming is the author of the book above? They do seem like decent quality, despite the lack of a brand name. 🙂
Shamballa Bracelet – Shamballa bracelets are made from cord tied in special knots that are based on macramé. They incorporate special gems, stones, and beads that have spiritual and healing meaning. This one features pretty pink bling-ed out beads, along with solid black/gray. Adjusting the size of the bracelet is a little tricky… I was able to make it larger, but struggled with getting it tight on my wrist. I did find some YouTube videos that show how to do it though, so I should be okay. 😉
Seattle Chocolates Truffle Bars – Not one, but TWO Seattle Chocolate truffle bars were included in the Konenkii Spring box! For this I was very thankful because one of them (the dark chocolate bar) was actually VEGAN! Ahh! It was delicious… Chocolate, truffle-y, and just the right amount of almond bits and sea salt. Yum!!
Green Tea Konjac Sponge – I’ve gotten a few of these all natural sponges in other subscription boxes and I’m always hesitant to use them. I know they’re supposed to be great for gentle exfoliation, but I’m kinda weird about using a single item to wash my face over and over. (I feel like it’ll get too germ-y.) My mom was happy to try it though. 🙂
Naiad Soap Arts Whipped Soap Sugar Scrub in Cherry Blossom – A whipped soap/sugar scrub in the perfect scent for spring — cherry blossom! This multi-purpose scrub both exfoliates & cleanses and is safe for all skin types.
Organic Flower Bombs – I love that the info card referred to these as “F-bombs”. Ha! These brightly colored seed balls/bombs contain organic wildflower seeds. Just “throw and grow”!
Spirit of Spring Recipes – Konenkii always provides a few seasonal recipes every quarter. Those Sunny Lemon Squares look super good! I just may have to try to veganize ’em. 🙂
Another awesomely curated box of goodness from Konenkii! While they’re intended for women a bit older than I (uh, but not much), I still find that it would be appreciated by women of just about any age. The items are always fun, yet practical and the perfect box for treating yourself or giving as a thoughtful gift.
If you’d like to sign up (for yourself or as a gift), you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “ROSE10“!
