L’Amour Secret is an adult subscription box that sends a personalized selection of intimate items right to your door every month.
When you initially subscribe to L’Amour Secret, you’ll be asked to fill out a personal profile so that they can customize your boxes to your specific sizes, pleasures, and sexual preferences. This will ensure that you receive items that you’ll actually want to use (always a plus 😉 ). They work with well know companies such as Adam&Eve, California Exotic Novelties, Doc Johnson, Shunga Romance, Sport Sheets, etc. Items can include toys, lotions, lubes, erotic games, wearables, accessories, novelty items, bondage gear, and more.
Subscriptions are $54.99/month and are currently available within the US only.
Let’s see what’s in my July 2016 L’Amour Secret box!
(WARNING: This post contains “adult” content. Proceed only if you’re over 18 and not offended by such material.)
Everything was shipped in a black box that was tucked inside of a discreet poly mailer.
A peek inside!
Since the boxes are customized to fit each subscriber’s personal profile, they don’t include a standard info card. (Hopefully I can figure out what everything is!)
Cute Baby Vibrator – As the package says, “Let this cute little guy brings you endless climax! Can’t believe? Just try it!”. Also, “You will never forget the time you and him!”. (Uh…?) Clearly this was not made in the USA. 😉 However, he is waterproof and “will make you happy everyday”.
Candy G-String ($11) – Ha! I’ve never seen a candy g-string like this before. Traditional edible panties made of Fruit Roll-Up type “material”, yes… but this is totally new to me. Also, it seems quite time consuming if one was to actually eat all of the crunchy rings. Though I suppose the candy itself wouldn’t exactly be the main attraction here. 😉
Adventurous Sex! Sexual Position Cards ($7.50) – This deck of cards features 50 different sexual positions with translations in 8 languages. Some of the cards seem more like scenarios than actual positions, but they’re still fun to look through. The illustrations and names are pretty entertaining too.
Shunga Erotic Art Edible Body Paint ($13) – A glass jar of “Vanilla & Chocolate Temptation” flavored body paint, complete with a foam-tipped paintbrush. The perfect ingredient for a messy good time!
Calexotics Spicy Dice ($6.50) – Ah, good ol’ sex dice. To play, take turns rolling the 2 octagon die and perform the indicated action on your partner. Every fourth roll, use the square die as well and move to the specific location indicated. Actual sex can’t begin until “SEX” is rolled on both purple dice at once.
Vibrating Pleasure Ring ($7) – I’m trying hard not to be too explicit here… So I’ll refer to this as a vibrating pleasure ring complete with a clitoral stimulation bullet and… um… an anal bead. (Not sure how else to refer to that.) This is a one-time use toy with a battery life of roughly 25 minutes.
More stuff! – The box also included two samples of Wicked Toy Love Gel, two Trojan Ultra Thin Lubricated Condoms, a L’Amour Secret wrist band, and a pack of Duracell AA Batteries.
Overall, I was impressed with my first L’Amour Secret box. They definitely took my profile into consideration when selecting the items and I was happy not to see any whips or restraints. 😉 I wasn’t able to find retail values for all of the items, but the ones I did find (using Amazon prices) added up to around $45. So I’m guessing the actual total is right in line with the cost of the box. Considering the customization offered, it seems like a pretty fair deal to me. 🙂
