Let’s see what’s in the Little Bloomer “The Little Dreamer” Box!
Everything was shipped in a brown box with the Little Bloomer logo printed on the top and side.
All of the items were neatly tucked inside of a reusable Little Bloomer tote.
Pasted to the inside lid was a visual guide to everything included in the “Little Dreamer” box. — This box is the first in the Little Bloomer collection and is specifically designed for ages 0-3 months.
A 2-sided information card provided the contents in list form, with product specs and care instructions for each item.
3-in-1 Play Mat
Promotes thinking skills and large motor skills.
While not the easiest item to take decent photos of (hello mirrors & awkward angles), this 3-in-1 play mat couldn’t be any cuter! It features colorful graphics and plenty of sensory fun — including crinkly flower petals, an arched mirror with a strategically placed fabric rainbow for peek-a-boo sessions, dangling white clouds, and more. There’s also a spot on the back to hold contrast cards, which you’ll find below. The mat can be stored easily by simply unsnapping the buttons at the top of the “triangle” and laying it flat.
Contrast Cards
Promotes visual skills and cognitive skills.
As promised, here are the previously mentioned contrast cards. 🙂 Designed to engage your baby’s vision from the earliest days, these cards feature bold, high-contrast patterns that support visual development and keep little ones fascinated. There are four 2-sided cards in all, with each measuring roughly 5 inches wide by 7 inches long. They can be placed inside the designated slots on the play mat as shown above, or just enjoyed on their own.
Soft Sight Mirror
Promotes self discovery and communication.
This colorful toy has multiple ways of entertaining your little one. — The top/flat side is equipped with a built-in mirror for some self-reflection ( 😉 ), while the attached rings and crinkly leaves provide opportunities for sensory play. The domed back is stuffed/padded for extra protection and wobbly fun.
High Contrast Mobile
Promotes sensory development and visual skills.
As with the contrast cards shown earlier, this mobile is designed with bold, high-contrast patterns to support sensory development and visual skills. It’s constructed of sturdy metal wire with six 2-sided plastic discs. It’s a cute mobile, but I did notice a bit of a design flaw in that the wires area all lined up facing the same way — resulting in the discs all being clustered together on both sides (see first photo). (In the second photo, I had to spin the wires to spread the discs out like a traditional mobile.) A strong rope/string in place of the flat black loops would probably solve this issue. 🙂
Bloom Buddy Stroller Toy
Promotes sense of security.
Aw, how cute is this little “Bloom Buddy”?! 😀 He’s an ideal pal to bring along with baby when you’re out & about. Not only is he absolutely adorable, but he can also keep your little one entertained with his crinkly petals & leaves, stretchy legs, and soothing jingle. A sturdy wooden ring provides additional opportunities for fine motor/grasping practice (and likely a bit of chewing).
Jiggle Booties
Promotes cause & effect and large motor skills
More cuteness! — These cozy knit booties were designed with contrasting colors to grab your little one’s attention, along with sweet little plush shapes that double as rattles when shaken. My (now tween) daughters would have loved these! (They both remarked how cute they were. 😉 )
Little Learner Links
Promotes fine motor skills.
These classic “linking rings” are a simple, yet engaging toy for babies to explore their tactile and fine motor skills. Each flexible ring features a different color and texture for a fun sensory experience. They can also be attached to strollers, play mats, or other toys for entertaining your little one both at home and on the go.
Peek a Bloom Board Book
Promotes vocalizing and early literacy skills.
The final item in the box was a darling interactive board book with an attached “puppet” that can peek through the hole on the center of each page. As with previous items, it features bold/high contrast designs to help capture baby’s attention and keep them engaged. A wooden ring is attached for grasping, chewing, and more.
“The Little Dreamer” box from Little Bloomer was jam-packed with adorable toys and accessories to welcome your little one into the world with products especially curated for the newborn stage. All of the items appeared to be of very good quality and well made. My tweens both agreed that the little faces on the rattle, booties, etc. were “soooo cute!” — so I’m positive that they would have adored them when they were infants as well. 😉 — If you’d like to try out Little Bloomer for yourself, remember to use coupon code “ROSE20” to save $20 on your first month of any subscription (or single purchase box)!
