My June 2016 Loot Crate arrived a little later than usual, due to a weird hiccup in their system… But it’s here now, so yay!
If you still haven’t heard, Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box for fans of gamer/geek culture. Every month you’ll get a box packed with 6-8 items that can include toys, gear, figures, art, accessories, and more. They often send special limited edition Loot Crate exclusive items as well.
Subscriptions are $19.37/month (price includes shipping), or less with longer plans. — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code LOOTR3.
Okay, let’s see what’s inside the June 2016 Loot Crate!
The signature black Loot Crate box.
A peek inside!
June’s theme was “Dystopia” and the mini mag/info booklet featured a look at the psychology of loving dystopia, 4 different types of dystopia, 4 ways to dress for a dystopia, and more.
Exclusive Grey Matter Art RoboCop T-Shirt – This exclusive RoboCop design has never been featured on a t-shirt before — until now! It’s printed on an incredibly soft gray tee and it’s one of my husband’s favorite Loot Crate shirts to date.
Funko Dorbz Fallout 4 Power Armor Action Figure – Normally these Dorbz figures are, well, adorbs… But this guy doesn’t have a face, so it kinda misses the mark on the whole “cute” thing. For me, anyway. He’s still a neat little collectible though. 🙂
Exclusive Terminator 2 Metal Print – Okay, this is definitely the main “wtf am I going to do with this thing” item of the box. It’s a metal print/plaque of a big ol’ Terminator face. Honestly, it creeps me the eff out and I need to get it out of our house ASAP. That said, I suppose it could make a fairly decent Halloween decoration?
Exclusive Bioshock Infinite Key Blank – At first, I thought this was just a regular keychain… Until I noticed the big type that read “KEY BLANK”. I don’t know much (anything) about Bioshock, but I do think this would make a pretty rad lookin’ house key. 🙂
Exclusive The Matrix Puzzle – This 300-piece puzzle features brand new artwork developed to be exclusively unveiled by Loot Crate. The completed image measures 11 x 14 inches.
Exclusive June 2016 Loot Pin – June’s pin was inspired by Fallout 4 and is one of the neatest looking Loot Crate pins to date. Subscribers can use the pin in their account to unlock exclusive wallpaper and ringtones from the mobile game Fallout Shelter.
Remember — If you’d like to sign up for Loot Crate, you can save $3 on any subscription plan with coupon code “LOOTR3“!
