November Loot Crate unboxing time!
If you’re new here, Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box for fans of gamer/geek culture. Every month you’ll get a box packed with 6-8 items that can include toys, gear, snacks, hardware, art, accessories, and more! (They’ve even been sending limited edition Loot Crate exclusive items!) Boxes are $19.37/month (price includes shipping), or less with longer subscriptions.
Okay, let’s see what’s inside the November 2015 Loot Crate!
A lil’ look inside that familiar black box.
November’s mini mag/info booklet featured a look at popular video game rivalries, a brief history of fictional “teen fight clubs”, and an interview with WWE’s Kyle Edwards.
Cute But Deadly Vinyl Mystery Figure from Blizzard Entertainment – This mystery box contains a vinyl figure from Diablo, Starcraft and Warcraft. The figures are 2.5 inches tall and there are 9 to collect in all — including a Loot Crate exclusive orange Merloc.
Exclusive Fallout 4 Vault Boy Bobble Head – A Loot Crate exclusive, this Vault Boy bobble head features a pose not found anywhere else! As with most of the boxed items I get from Loot Crate, this guy is staying in mint in box until I find a use/better home for him.
TMNT Shredder Sunglasses – Haha! Whaaaat? I think this is the most ridiculous item I’ve received from Loot Crate so far. But I kinda like it. 😉 I’m curious as to how many Looters will actually sport these in public.
Exclusive Street Fighter Hyper Looting Comic Book – A original comic from Capcom that merges the Loot Crate employees with the crew from Street Fighter to save the world against the evils of Shadaloo.
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 Pin – According to the info booklet, this is a prop replica pin of the tribute token worn by Katniss Everdeen. Since I don’t know crap diddly about The Hunger Games, I’ll take their word for it. 😉
Exclusive Cute But Deadly Magnet Set – I suppose the “deadly” thing fits, but cute? Nope. Not seeing it.
Loot Crate Gift Tags & Pin – A few handy gift tags were included for those who choose to give the gift of Loot Crate this season. Also, there’s November’s “Combat” pin.
November’s Loot Crate wasn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t awful. I’m not too familiar with most of the franchises this month, so that usually makes for a pretty “meh” box. The items themselves were fine, though there were definitely a few filler items this time around. Ah well. Still worth the $20/month investment — especially if you’re actually into the shows/games featured.
