August 2016 Love With Food time! — This month’s theme was “Love is Family”. (I think it’s really time for them to just get rid of the themes altogether at this point since they make absolutely no sense. Just sayin’.)
If you’re not aware, Love With Food is one of the most affordable snack subscriptions out there. — It’s only $9.99/month (shipping included) for their “Tasting” box. (You can actually try your first Tasting box for $7.99 shipped!) They also have a “deluxe” box for $19.95/month (free shipping), as well as a 100% Gluten Free version for $24.99/month, which you can try for 50% off by clicking this link. Plus, with every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need.
Let’s see what’s in the August 2016 Love With Food Tasting Box!
The little red box!
A peek inside.
Love With Food usually includes an info booklet with all of the items listed inside, but this month they just gave you a link to read more about the products on their site. Can’t say I’m a fan. :/
Nature’s Path EnviroKidz Chocolate Crispy Rice Bar – A gluten-free, peanut-free crispy rice bar made with organic ingredients including brown rice flour, honey, milk chocolate, and cocoa butter. My kids will undoubtedly fight over this.
Goodie Girl Quinoa Choco-Chip Cookies – Another gluten-free treat, these mini cookies are described as “just the right amount of wrong”. Ingredients include quinoa flour, powdered milk, semi sweet chocolate chips, and cocoa butter.
PopCorners Carnival Kettle Popped Chips – I love kettle corn so I was excited to see that these popped corn chips were vegan-friendly. They’re also gluten-free and made with non-GMO ingredients.
Sheffa Zesty Snack Mix – A zesty mix of ground chickpeas, roasted corn, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, spices, and sea salt. I’m not too into savory snacks, so this will be passed along to someone who is.
Peanut Butter & Co. Mightynut Powdered Peanut Butter – This powered peanut butter is made by roasting and pressing peanuts to remove most of the fat. — It actually has 90% less fat than regular peanut butter! It can be reconstituted with water and used as a spread, or the powder can be sprinkled into smoothies and other dishes.
Ocean’s Halo Texas BBQ Seaweed Snack – I love barbecue flavored things, but I just can’t get down with seaweed. Just can’t do it.
Fru-licious Fruit & Cream Smoothie Pop – This is listed on the Love With Food site as being vegan, but the ingredients include milk proteins and carmine, so… Not so much. Also the first 4 ingredients are water, dry glucose syrup, dextrose, and sugar. Meh.
Chimes Toasted Coconut Toffee – These little toffee candies are made with fresh coconut milk and are gluten Free, dairy free and vegan. Heck yes! Looking forward to trying them. 🙂
Love With Food has kindly given me an exclusive deal to share with my readers: Save $20 on ANY 12-month subscription when you use the code “2LITTLEROSEBUDS” (must be all caps) at checkout! — If you don’t want to commit to a 12 month plan, you can always try your first Gluten-Free box for 50% off, OR get your first Tasting box for just $7.99 shipped! (simply click the links to activate the discounts – no coupon codes needed!).
