Love With Food time again! (How is it already April? Yeesh!) This month’s box is themed “Starry Nights” and celebrates the coming of spring and late night snacks on the porch. Works for me.
If you’re new to them, Love With Food is one of the most affordable subscriptions out there. — It’s only $10/month (plus $2 shipping) for their “Tasting” box. (You can actually try your first Tasting box for FREE!) They also have a “deluxe” box for $19.95/month (free shipping), as well as a 100% Gluten Free version for $29/month. With every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need. Win, win!
Let’s see what’s in April’s Love With Food Tasting Box!
The familiar little red box.
The info card/booklet reveals everything included in the box, as well as full ingredient lists and nutritional info for each item.
Vintage Italia Garlic Olive Oil Pasta Chips – These pasta-inspired chips are oven baked and have 60% less fat than regular potato chips. I’ve gotten them a few times in other boxes, and while the idea is neat, I’m not really a fan. They’re not awful, just not my thing.
Luna Lemon Zest Mini Bar – I love Luna bars, so I’m always happy to see them included in subscription boxes. This mini bar is only 90 calories and packed with calcium, iron, and plenty of vitamins. A nice alternative to empty calorie candy bars.
Back to Nature Honey Graham Sticks – I love Back to Nature products, but never see them in my local grocery stores. Subscription boxes seem to be the only way to get my fix. These graham sticks are made with all natural ingredients and my toddlers love ’em.
Mighty Leaf Green Tea Tropical Tea – I’m a big fan of tea and I love trying out new brands/flavors. Mighty Leaf is one of my favorite brands and this tropical green tea was great.
Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread – I think I’ve gotten these in a past Love With Food box. They’re classic Scottish cookies made with just 4 ingredients: wheat flour, butter, sugar, and salt.
Wild Garden Snack Box to Go – I totally forgot to take a picture of the box on its own, so here it is among its other snack friends. 😉 This is a convenient “on the go” snack that features a bag of quinoa chips and traditional hummus. It’s gluten free, vegan, and full of plant-based protein.
YumEarth Naturals Sour Beans – These sour beans have been in SO many subscription boxes lately. I’m totally not complaining though, cos they’re super good. They’re made with natural fruit extracts, contain no artificial colors or flavors, are gelatin-free, and are an excellent source of Vitamin C.
Love With Food “Snacking Star” Magnet – I love when they include fun little “bonus” items!
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with April’s Love With Food box. I do wish there were a few more new-to-me brands, but old favorites are always good too. Aside from the shortbread (and the grahams for those who avoid honey), all of the items were vegan — always a major plus for me!
Love With Food has kindly given me an exclusive deal to share with my readers: Save $20 on any 6- or 12-month subscription when you use the code “2LITTLEROSEBUDS” (must be all caps) at checkout! This includes all 3 box options (Tasting Box, Deluxe, and Gluten-Free). The code makes the Tasting box just $8.33/month with the yearly plan! Crazy good deal.
If you don’t want to commit to a 6 or 12 month plan, you can always try your first Gluten-Free box for 50% off, OR get your first Tasting box for FREE (just pay $2 shipping, simply click the link – no code needed).
