I recently reviewed this month’s Gluten-Free Love With Food box (you can see it here) and it was great — and 100% vegan! This review is for my regular “Tasting Box” subscription, which was equally awesome (and vegan).
If you’re not aware, Love With Food is one of the most affordable subscriptions out there. — It’s only $10/month (plus $2 shipping) for their “Tasting” box. (You can actually try your first Tasting box for FREE!) They also have a “deluxe” box for $19.95/month (free shipping), as well as a 100% Gluten Free version for $29/month. With every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need. Win, win!
Let’s see what’s in March’s Love With Food Tasting Box!
The box!
March’s box was curated by Megan Roosevelt, a plant-based dietitian and founder of the site Healthy Grocery Girl. All of the snacks included this month are vegan and most are gluten-free as well.
180 Degrees Nutty Rice Bites with Cranberries – I’ve gotten these in a past Love With Food box (in blueberry, I think) and they’re really good. They’re basically little granola squares with puffed rice, nuts, and fruit. Yum!
Annie’s Chocolate Bunny Grahams – My kiddos love Annie’s snacks. These are made with organic wheat and are free of artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives.
Two Moms in the Raw Almond Butter Cacao Truffle – This truffle was also included in the gluten-free box and I was happy to see it in the regular box too. It contains just 4 ingredients: organic almonds, agave, cacao, and salt. I ordered more from the Love With Food store before even tasting it and I’m totally glad I did. LOVE them!
Turbana Plantain Chips – I’m not a fan of banana chips, but these plantain chips are SO much better. You’d almost not know they’re made from a fruit. They’re very potato chip like and slightly addictive. 😉
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts – 100% raw shelled hemp seeds perfect for adding to smoothies, cereal, salads, etc. I usually just sprinkle mine on granola for a little extra boost of protein.
The Good Bean Roasted Chickpeas with Sea Salt – A healthy snack made with non-GMO chickpeas and a touch of sea salt. One serving contains an impressive 4 grams of both protein and fiber.
Bops Sea Salt Crisps – Oven-baked potato crisps with 65% less fat than regular potato chips. I’ve had these before, but they weren’t my favorite. They weren’t bad, but not particularly awesome either.
Miracle Tree Moringa Organic Tea – Organic tea made with moringa leaves and strawberry flavor. Packed with antioxidants. The gluten-free box had a sample of apple cinnamon flavor, but this strawberry one sounds even better.
Choco Chews by Trujoy Sweets – Say whaaat? Vegan Tootsie Rolls?! These were SO flippin’ great. They’re basically a gluten-free, vegan, organic version of the beloved Tootsie Roll. Oh, and they don’t contain any artificial flavors or colors either. Score!!
Needless to say, I was a BIG fan of this month’s Love With Food box. They really need to offer an all-vegan option already! Do it, guys!
