April 2018 Loved + Blessed unboxing time!
If you haven’t heard, Loved + Blessed is a subscription box that sends a monthly “box of encouragement” for women of faith. Each box will follow a different theme and consist of a mini poster for your home or office, a repositionable reminder sticker, a scripture card, a keepsake theme card, and a special gift of encouragement. Gifts can include jewelry, books, home decor, fashion accessories, and more. With every box sold, Loved + Blessed donates a portion of the proceeds to Union Rescue Mission, an organization that helps the homeless.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15.99/month (plus $4 shipping), or less with multi-month commitments.
Let’s see what’s in the April 2018 Loved + Blessed box!
As always, everything was shipped in a small hot pink box via First Class Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card revealed April’s theme — “Enough” — and listed the full contents of the box.
Keepsake Theme Card
Taped to the inside lid was a keepsake theme card which further explained the meaning of this month’s theme. It was to serve as a reminder that no matter what obstacles you run into and what disappointments you may endure, you are ALWAYS good enough.
Mini Poster
April’s 5 x 7 inch mini poster/print featured the phrase “Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful” in gray text over a white, polka-dotted background. The back included additional text which read “Enjoy what you have… Stop focusing on what you’re missing”.
Reminder Sticker & Scripture Card
A removable/repositionable “Enough” sticker was included to place on a mirror, laptop, tablet, window, or anywhere else where it can be viewed throughout the day. A coordinating scripture card — featuring Psalm 16:5-6 — could be tucked into a wallet or purse for encouragement on the go.
Enough: Finding Abundant Life in a World Striving for More by Elise Knobloch
I don’t think you could find a more appropriate book for this month’s theme!
From Amazon:
Part Bible study, part cup-of-coffee-with-a-friend, Enough offers encouragement to those seeking to live life to the fullest, but not always feeling fulfilled. Author Elise Knobloch considers the ancient Hebrews’ daily gathering of manna—an amount that God defined as “Enough” for them—and reflects on how we can find contentment in God’s daily gifts as well. Using wit, biblical research, and a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor and sarcasm, Elise invites readers to allow their human authenticity to be the very space in which God’s glory shines the brightest. The Hebrews had much to learn about depending on their God, and perhaps we do too, as we seek to find our Enough in a God who offers exactly what we need.
Bird Themed Bookmark/Ruler
To go along with the book, Loved + Blessed also included a cute bird-themed bookmark. It’s made of a lightweight silver (not sure why it looks gold above) material and includes a ruler on one side.
Encouragement Kit
Lastly, there was an encouragement kit to pass along to someone else who could use a helping hand. It consisted of a greeting card with a pop-up envelope inside that held a small scripture card printed with Romans 4:18-21.
I really appreciated the theme of March’s Loved + Blessed box. It’s so easy to focus on the things you don’t have, while neglecting to be grateful for everything that you do. This box served as a nice reminder to be happy with what you have at the present.
