Lovely Candy Co. was nice enough to send me 4 bags of their consciously crafted caramels and fruit chews for me to review. I received two bags of their caramels (original & chocolate swirl) and two bags of their fruit chews (original & superfruit).
The fruit chews reminded me of a healthier, vegan version of Starburst. This made me very happy, since I haven’t had Starburst in years. Probably not since the 90’s. (They contain gelatin, which is a no-no for vegans.) Unlike Starburst, these chews actually have real, honest-to-goodness fruit bits in them! SO good!
My parents got the pleasure of taking the caramels home to taste for themselves, since they contain dairy. Needless to say, they were both more than happy to take them off my hands. Recently, when I asked them what they thought of them, my dad said something along the lines of “Ooooh… The caramels… Yeah, they were GOOD”. My mom concurred. 🙂
