Lulu Blossom is small, woman-owned company that offers all natural, cruelty-free and vegan skin care products. They’re based in Chicago, IL and are committed to offering natural products made with the finest ingredients. All of their goods are totally free of sulfates, parabens, glycol, petroleum, and of course, animal fats (ew!).
I was recently contacted to see if I’d be interested in reviewing some of their products. (Heck yes, I would!) I chose a few things that looked like things I’d enjoy most and passed along my list, thinking they’d send one or two… To my surprise, they sent my whole list. Yay!
So let’s have a look at what I chose!
Dreamsicle Body Balm – Apparently this was sent in a recent Ipsy bag. May’s bag, to be exact. Sadly, I didn’t receive it in mine — but I have it now! This stuff smells amaaaazing! It’s the perfect blend of orange & vanilla and smells just like a Creamsicle. (Man, I miss those things!) You can use this balm almost anywhere that needs a little extra moisture. It has nourishing shea butter, grapeseed oil, candellila wax and essential oils. I used this on my legs after a shower and it absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. Plus, it left me smelling like a big ol’ Creamsicle.
Sweet Tooth Soy Travel Candle – I’m burning this right now and WOW… It smells just like vanilla cake/frosting! I love it! It’s made with hand-poured soy wax and has a natural cotton wick. Burn time is 26-30 hours. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this candle… Except that it’s really making me wish I had some friggin’ cake right now!
White Icing Sugar Scrub Melt Bar – This 2-serving bar smells just like the vanilla cake-scented candle… SO good. It’s made with sugar to help exfoliate the skin, as well as cocoa butter to moisturize it. Unfortunately, as yummy as it smelled, I wasn’t a big fan of this. I broke the bar in half to use in the shower. It melted quickly as I rubbed it over my skin, but it felt very greasy/oily. The bottom of my tub got slippery and I had to scrub the access off of my body with 2 additional washings using my regular bar soap. Needless to say, I won’t be using the other half. 🙁
Bombs Away! Bath Bomb Powder – I love traditional bath bombs, so I can’t wait to try out this powder version. Unfortunately, it’s been way to hot to indulge myself in a bath, so I’ll have to wait. This is made with baking soda, citric acid, witch hazel, and pink Himalayan rock salt. It has a nice, light scent and contains enough powder for 5-10 baths.
Aside from the sugar scrub/melt, I really enjoyed the products I tried from Lulu Blossom. They all smelled flippin’ incredible and I love that they’re made from natural ingredients.

I love vegan products and I try to take care of my skin as much as possible. I would be excited to try sugar scrub. I would love to try it because it would be nice to exfoliate my skin with natural skin care products.

It all looks so good! I would be most interested in the Raspberry Lemonade Lip Balm (because I may have a slight obsession with lippies), or the Gimmie Some Sugar, Sugar! Sugar Scrub, or even the Milk and Homey Body Lotion…. or anything really 🙂
I would be most excited about trying the White Icing Sugar Scrub Melt Bar because it sounds so good and i’m sure it smells great. Would be a great way for my daughter to love washing up.
