My “regular” Citrus Lane box finally arrived today. I reviewed the May box that my mom got a few days ago here. Last month she got hers like a week late, and this month she got it before I got mine. (We live like 20 minutes away from one another.) Why you gotta be all weird with shipping, Citrus Lane? Yeesh.
Anywhooo… If you’re new to them, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (cheaper with longer subs) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom. (Not this time… )
May’s box featured products to get you into the spirit of summer. This box is geared towards a 21-month old girl. Okay — let’s check it out!
Melissa & Doug Mermaid Dress-Up Chunky Puzzle – This month our age group was able to choose from a handful of different Melissa & Doug puzzles to be included in our May box. It was hard to decide, but I ended up going with this mermaid-themed one. We have a few M&D puzzles already, but this seemed a little different with the whole “dress up” thing goin’ on. I love M&D, so I was happy to add another to our collection. (Amazon Price: $11.99)
Puzzling.
Hape Sand Molds – We received 2 of these neat sand molds: A green Parthenon and a pink Mayan Pyramid. Hape toys are super sturdy and these molds actually have a 5 year guarantee. I love the fact that these are historical monuments, but I think I’ll keep the whole Mayan Temple beheading/sacrificing thing on the down-low for now. 😉 (Amazon Price: Parthenon: $4.93, Mayan Pyramid: $7.70)
“Look! I’m in Devo!”
Goodbyn Hero Food Container – I was hoping we’d get this! I’ve seen them in past boxes and always wanted to get one in ours. Bento-style containers are so cute and this one is BPA & phthalate free, as well as dishwasher safe. It has one big compartment for sandwiches/salads/etc, two smaller ones for sides/dips/etc., AND two removable “dipper” containers with lids. Love it!! This model is brand new and hasn’t even launched in stores yet. Cool! (Amazon Price for similar: $12.15)
Back to Nature Mini Chocolate Chunk Cookies – THESE COOKIES ARE SO GOOD!! Yep, they’re “all caps” good. When I saw that they were vegan, I was pleasantly surprised… Then I tasted them and was in loooove. Perfect, crunchy cookies with big ol’ chunks of chocolate… No artificial flavors, preservatives, or high fructose corn syrup… Definitely the best snack I’ve gotten from a Citrus Lane box. Super bummed that they’re not available for Amazon Prime. I need more!! (Amazon Price: roughly $1.00)
Jasmine Seven Fresh Feet Wipes for Kids – (We got these in our other May box, so I’m just gonna copy & paste from there. Cool? Cool.) These wipes are designed especially for your little one’s dirty (stinky?) feet. They’re antibacterial, alcohol free, and 99% natural. This 10-count travel pack is perfect to bring along whenever barefoot activities are in your plans. No dirty feet? They can be used as hand wipes too. (Amazon Price: $6.76)
All totaled, the items in this month’s box come to an impressive $44.53! I think this is my very favorite box from Citrus Lane yet! Melissa & Doug, Goodbyn, Hape, vegan cookies… Can’t beat that!
