Sapphire Soul May 2014 Review & Special Discount Codes

Sapphire Soul is a unique monthly subscription that helps you “inspire your mind, take care of your body and open your soul”.

The box includes items such as candles, essential oils, jewelry, holistic wellness products, crystals, and more! All of the items are chosen to help you achieve happiness and balance for your mind, body, and soul. It’s definitely not your average subscription box. 😉

Sapphire Soul offers a few different subscription options. You can choose from a Balance Box — what I’ll be reviewing ($28/month for small, $48 for large) —  an Essential Oils Box ($16/month), Crystals Box ($7/month) or Healing Jewelry Box ($25/month). Fun fact: A percentage of all of their sales is donated toward educating and empowering women all over the world. Woo!

I was recently sent the May Balance Box for review. I had no idea what would be inside, so I couldn’t wait to open it! Let’s check it out!

First look! Everything was hidden beneath the info sheet, which reveals that May’s theme is “GROW” and focuses on change and the 4th Chakra, the Heart.

Lavender Tranquility Eye Pillow – This is a lavender-infused eye pillow that can be used hot or cold. You simply place it over your eyes and it helps you to fall asleep, relieve stress, ease migraines, or just plain relax. It contains lavender and organic flax seed and is made in the USA. I LOVE lavender, and this smells amazing to me. Ahhh.

Heart Chakra Candle – Chakra candles can be used for “meditation, chakra rebalancing, relaxing to music, and sitting in your sacred space”. This green one represents the Heart Chakra and includes an essential oil blend of rose “to heal old wounds & enhance sensual pleasures” and geranium “to calm and soothe”.

Crystal – This month’s box included either emerald or malachite. I had no idea which one I received (even after Googling), so I emailed Allison at Sapphire Soul to help me out. The verdict? Emerald! According to the info sheet, emerald has a ton of different “uses”. It can help improve memory, release jealous feelings, promote health, and even increase fertility if placed under your bed. (This will be staying far away from my bedroom… 😉 )

Heart Chakra Essential Oil Spray – I love this! It’s a “balancing mist” with an essential oil blend of jasmine, rose, and blood orange. You can use it for a perfume, fabric refresher, air freshener, etc. I love the scent of jasmine (and the taste — jasmine tea — yum!), so this was a great item to receive. I also love that it’s all natural and totally safe to use around kiddos. 🙂

Stash Chanakara Tea – This is a tea for “love & harmony”. It’s a blend of organic green tea, orange peel, yerba mate and sweet melon flavor. I’m actually drinking a cup of this while I write this review, and it’s alright. It has a nice green tea flavor, but I’m not too crazy about the hint of melon. Ah well.

Paper Magician Magic Tree – This was actually missing from my box (I noticed it listed on the info sheet), so I emailed Allison to ask about it and she shipped it right over. So nice! I had a choice between this and seeds, and since I don’t have much luck growing anything with seeds, I figured I might do better growing a magic tree. 😉 I haven’t tried it yet, but you can click on the link above to see it “in bloom”.

I really loved my Sapphire Soul box — it was full of things I probably wouldn’t think of buying on my own, but loved being introduced to them. The pillow smells amazing, I love the essential oil mist, candles are always good, and I’m looking forward to seeing my magic tree in action!
