Let’s see what’s in the March 2017 Mommy Mailbox box!
Everything was shipped in a white box with the Mommy Mailbox logo on top.
A peek inside!
March’s box theme was “Happiness” and it was curated by Crinkles & Dimples owner, Krysta Monet.
An info card listed all of the items in the box, along with brief descriptions for each one.
Your Tea Happy Tea ($25)
This all natural tea was created by traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to help uplift your mood, calm digestion, alleviate stress, and ease anxiety. It consists of an herbal blend that includes chrysanthemum, go qi zi berries, rose flower, lemon, and Chinese red tea. It’s quite a large box that contains forty tea bags! That’s a whole lot of happy! 🙂
Bellápierre Cosmetics Go Natural XII Eye Shadow Palette ($34.99)
I used the current Amazon price above, but this palette actually sells for $50 on Bellápierre’s site. Nice! I received a similar nudes/neutrals palette from another subscription box that I’ve been using daily, so I’ll be tucking this away until I need it. The shades are perfect for everyday wear and eyeshadow is one of the few makeup products that I use regularly. Score!
Lulu’s Jewels “My Happy Place” Art Print ($14)
A great little print to coincide with this month’s happiness theme! The only plants I can manage to keep alive are air plants, but I might give succulents (like those in the print) another try soon. Fingers crossed!
Parlo Cosmetics Shave Whip ($3.50)
I received this shave whip in another box back in January and was kinda surprised by its liquid-y, non-“whipped” consistency. The photos on the website actually show the tub tipped on its side with no drips/spillage, so I’m not sure why it’s always so thin/runny when I receive it. Weird. Consistency aside, the formula is 100% free of parabens, sulfates, & other chemical fillers and it’s vegan-friendly.
The March 2017 Mommy Mailbox had an impressive total retail value of almost $80 — and that’s using Amazon’s price for the palette! My favorite items were the happy tea, Bellápierre palette, and cute succulent print. 🙂 — Remember if you’d like to subscribe, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “ROSE5“!
