Let’s see what’s in my January 2016 MunchPak!
For some reason, I didn’t receive their regular custom box, but instead was sent a plain white one.
A peek inside. — Packed full of snacks!
MunchPak doesn’t include a standard info card with their boxes, but they do let you know who was responsible for packing it. “Nick” packed this one. Thanks Nick!
The back of the card revealed that a new MunchPak app will be released in 2016 which will allow you to scan a barcode on each of the snacks to reveal more info about it (taste, country of origin, etc). Cool!
Orion Custard Soft Cup Cake – A South Korean cupcake snack filled with cream and egg yolk. I’m assuming it tastes better than it sounds?
Glico Matcha Pocky – My kiddos are big Pocky fans, so we’re always happy to see these. I’m not sure how crazy they’ll be over green tea flavored ones, but we’ll see. A cookie’s a cookie, right?
Tayas Figola Hazelnut Chocolate Bar – A good-sized chocolate bar from Turkey that features a creamy hazelnut filling inside.
Paldo Crab Chips – South Korean snack chips made with real crab extract and seasoning. Sounds… interesting. 😉
Orion Choco Boy Twin Pack – Choco Boy! I used to buy these all the time in my early 20’s (pre-vegan days). They’re little mushroom-shaped treats made with cookies and chocolate. So good!
C Nature Choco Puff – Another South Korean treat, these are crunchy cracker-like sticks made with chocolate and melon. A unique flavor combo for sure.
Yummy Gummy Fizzy Cola Gummies – Cola bottle shaped gummy candies from Turkey made with natural colors and real cola flavor.
Paldo Pororo Roasted Seaweed – Sorry seaweed, but even with cute packaging I still won’t eat you. 😉
Ottogi Ppushu Ppushu Grilled Chicken Flavor Noodle Snack – No boiling required! Just crunch up these snack noodles, sprinkle the flavor packet on it, and eat!
SimSek C’est Bon – White chocolate coated wafers drizzled with chocolate and filled with hazelnut cream.
eFrutti Sour Gecko Gummi Candy – I like the description on the MunchPak site, so I’m stealing it. 😉 “These geckos don’t save you money on your car insurance but they definitely make for a sour, gummy and delicious treat.” Ha!
Once again, MunchPak delivered a nice selection of snacks from around the world. Sweet, salty, fruity, fishy — something for everyone!
Don’t forget — If you’d like to sign up for MunchPak, you can save $3 on your first box with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
