CheatPak is a new subscription box from MunchPak that features snacks that are half indulgent and half healthy. (They also just introduced HealthPak with more healthier options, that I reviewed here.)
Each box will include 10 or more snacks with half of them being indulgent/splurgy foods, and half being lighter/healthier options. You can expect to receive items such as chocolate bars, gummy candies, cookies, chips, lollipops, protein bars, multi-grain crackers, popcorn, fruit snacks, granola bars, Japanese & Korean snacks, bubble gum, and more.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $32.95/month or less with multi-month commitments. Shipping is free within the US.
Let’s see what’s in the November 2018 CheatPak box!
Everything was shipped in a colorful box with the CheatPak logo on the side.
A peek inside!
There wasn’t a detailed info card enclosed, but they did include a card with the name of the person who packed the box. (Thanks Roxanne!)
Golden Cannoli Powdered Sugar Cannoli Chips
Made from a treasured family recipe, these crunchy powdered sugar coated pastry chips contain no artificial flavors, preservatives, or trans fats. They can be enjoyed straight from the bag or crumbled over ice cream, fruit, cakes, pies, or even yogurt.
Pizootz New York Dill Pickle Artisan Peanuts
I just ordered dill pickle flavored peanuts from a fundraiser for my daughter’s school (pretty much the only vegan option available). I’ve never actually tried them before, so these ones from Pizootz should give me a good idea of what I’m in for. 😉
Ulker Cizi Salted Cheese Crackers
Imported from Turkey, these crispy cheese flavored crackers are both salty and savory. A simple snack ideal for when you’re just craving “something salty”.
Wat-U-See Zesty Ranch Popped Chickpeatos
I’ve had these chickpea-based snack puffs a few times before and they’re pretty good. They’re made with a blend of green peas, rice, chickpeas, rice milk, sunflower oil, and a handful of flavorful spices. One serving has 3 grams of fiber, 3 grams of protein, and only 100 calories. These are also gluten-free and vegan friendly.
Honey Stinger Organic Vanilla & Chocolate Flavored Waffle
A certified organic treat inspired by the Dutch stroopwafel. It consists of a layer of honey infused with natural cocoa flavor sandwiched between two thin gluten free vanilla waffles.
Lenny & Larry’s The Complete Cookie in Snickerdoodle
Lenny & Larry’s cookies are SO good! The chocolate chip and double chocolate chip are my favorite. I haven’t tried this snickerdoodle flavor yet, but I’m sure it’s just as tasty. Not only is it 100% vegan, but it’s also packed with an impressive 16 grams of protein per cookie.
Lotte Chocolate Filled Pepero
These are basically like Pocky, but with the biscuits (cookies) on the outside and the chocolate on the inside. Both of my daughters love Pocky, so I’m sure they’ll enjoy these too.
Trululu Fresitas Gummies
Made in Colombia, these pink & white gummy candies are shaped like strawberries and taste like strawberries & cream. They’re even dusted in a coating of sugar crystals for added sweetness.
Eiffel Watermelon Bon Bons
A product of France, these little green candies are sweet & chewy with a fruity watermelon flavor.
Beanfields Barbecue Bean Chips
Beanfields are one of my favorite subscription box snack discoveries and this is the first time I’ve seen them pop up in one in forever. Needless to say, I was excited when I saw this familiar red bag in my HealthPak. The chips are actually made with beans and rice, but you’d never know. You’d also never guess that they were vegan-friendly. SO good!
If you’re looking for a diverse mix of both healthy(ish) snacks and more indulgent treats, CheatPak is the way to go. As with my recent review of HealthPak, I didn’t do a cost breakdown, but I’d say the price point is a bit high on this one considering the majority of the snacks are single serve packages. Other than that, I was happy with the selections.
