My Fashion Crate is a monthly subscription box featuring handpicked clothing and accessories that reflect the current season.
Each box will include 3-5 premium fashion products such as shirts, sweaters, dresses, leggings, jewelry, beauty items, accessories, and more. Everything that is sent is yours to keep. Style Rack Forest Green Cardigan/Wrap/Shawl
I’m not 100% sure what this would be called… It’s like a cardigan/wrap/shawl mash-up. I know it looks slightly gray in the photos above, but it’s actually a pretty deep forest green color in person (more like the lead photo all the way at the top). It has a cozy lightweight knit texture with flow-y 3/4 length sleeves — making it an ideal layering piece. The bottom two panels(?!) are knotted together, but can be separated if you’re not into…well, knots. 😉
Maroon Cozy Season Tee
The second apparel item was this very seasonally appropriate maroon t-shirt printed with the phrase “COZY season” in white text. It fits true to size for a t-shirt and isn’t cropped or oversized like many seem to be these days. (Yes, I’m old and not-s0-patiently waiting for the “cropped everything” trend to be over. 😉 ) This is a great tee to toss on with a pair of jeans and declare yourself sufficiently “festive”.
Woolsies Mistletoe Kisses Tinted Lip Balm Set
Next up was a 3-piece tinted lip balm set from Woolsies. It included three holiday-inspired flavors/tints: Pink Champagne (pink), Sugar Plum (purple), and Merry Berry (red). Each balm is crafted with chemical-free ingredients including shea butter, natural beeswax, Vitamin E, and various essential oils. (My daughters have already claimed dibs on these, letting me know that I can keep one for myself. Gee, thanks girls.)
Design by Riah Plaid Cosmetic Pouch
Looks like my kids are out of luck here — because I’m keeping this cute makeup pouch for MYSELF. 😉 I love its classic black & white plaid design and fun polka dotted lining. Plus, it’s the perfect size for craft supplies, cosmetics, pens, money, or pretty much anything you’d like to keep contained in a small (and cute!) bag.
Holiday Card
‘Tis the season! — December’s box also included a Christmas card to address to the recipient of your choice. It has a pretty generic message printed inside, making it a good choice for just about anyone (who celebrates Christmas, of course).
Gold Triangle Hair Pin (Bonus Mystery Gift)
I’m not usually a fan of gold, but I actually don’t mind it here because I’m really digging the simple, minimalist-inspired look of this hair pin. Each side of the triangle measures two inches long, making it large enough to make a statement yet subtle enough to still look classy.
Teddy Bear Keychain (Bonus Mystery Gift)
I totally overlooked the fact that this teddy bear keychain opens up to reveal a MIRROR inside! — I only noticed it as I was writing this review, which explains the dirty laptop background in the shot above. 😉 My daughters didn’t seem too interested in this guy before, but now that I’ve discovered his secret I’m sure they’ll be all about it.
