Let’s see what’s in the June 2023 My Paper Box (Grand Subscription) box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a personalized sticker/label on top. — June’s theme was inspired by “World Ocean Day”!
A peek inside!
The box now comes with an insert with an extra calendar printed on the reverse side — complete with lesser-known daily “holidays”.
An exclusive My Paper Box booklet/”magazine” provided more details about the items inside this month’s box, as well as a calendar, detailed list of bizarre & unique holidays, helpful tips on a variety of subjects, and more.
Desk Calendar
In addition to the calendar printed inside the booklet, the box also included a separate 2-sided card featuring a June 2023 calendar on one side and a list of unique holidays on the other.
Sea Life Greeting Cards
Two different sea life themed greeting cards were included — both with coordinating purple envelopes.
The first card featured a watercolor illustration of three pretty jellyfish surrounded by colorful bubbles. The message inside read: “Have a jelly good birthday!”. — A fun little card that would work for just about any recipient. 🙂
The second sea life themed greeting card was adorned with a vibrantly colored stingray in a similar watercolor style. The inside message read: “Wishing you oceans of joy and rays of happiness!”. — A sentiment that could be used for a variety of occasions.
Keep Swimming Notepad
June’s box included 3 different notepads — all with pretty watercolor sea life designs. The first one featured a family of jellyfish swimming between clusters of multicolored bubbles. My name was centered at the top of the pad in light blue text, with the phrase “Just keep swimming” printed at the bottom.
Stingray Notepad
Next up was a slightly shorter notepad with pre-printed lines to help keep things nice and orderly. 😉 My name was centered at the top in dark blue text, while a stingray/bubbles design bordered the bottom.
Boxy Bubbles Notepad
The final and largest of the notepads featured a mashup of the first two designs along with the addition of a new underwater friend — a little seahorse! Instead of the bubbles sticking to the borders, this time they’ve found their way into the middle of the paper to form various sized bubble-less sections to write in.
Postcards
Two cute 5″ x 7″ postcards were included, both featuring adorable sea friends.
Fun fact: Sea lions have external ear flaps, while seals have small ear holes (no flaps). I learned this 5 seconds ago when I Googled “sea lions vs seals” to determine exactly which one was depicted on the postcard above. 😉 Thus, this sea lion is “happy to see you”!
I’m going to go ahead and declare that our lil’ homie on the second card here is a sea turtle. He’s also very chill and encourages everyone to just “go with the flow”.
Pink Jellyfish Notecards
Also included were six jellyfish-themed notecards. They all featured a watercolor jellyfish design on the front, with a couple more on the back next to my name & a blank area for jotting down a short note. The first 3 had a pink & blue color scheme with my name printed in pink.
Blue Jellyfish Notecards
The second set of notecards was identical to the first, but with a mostly blue color scheme and matching text.
Marker Set
My kids have already expressed interest in these markers, so this will probably be the last glimpse of them that I’ll get. 😉 The set includes 3 markers in green, blue, and pink. Those sad squiggly things I drew are supposed to be jellyfish and you can see how well the colors match the actual artwork in this month’s box. Pretty!
Inspirational Stickers
The final item was a collection of inspirational stickers. Each sheet included six individual stickers with positive messages like “Make it Matter”, “Stay Humble”, and “Dreamers Become Doers”. They seem a little out of place with the current theme, but at least the colors work. 😉
June’s My Paper Box included a fun assortment of sea life/ocean themed stationery with beautiful watercolor designs. My personal favorites this time were the greeting cards, notepads, and marker set. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first Grand Subscription box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
