Let’s see what’s in the September 2023 My Paper Box (Grand Subscription) box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a personalized sticker/label on top. — September’s theme was “Case of the Doodles”!
A peek inside!
The box now comes with an insert with an extra calendar printed on the reverse side — complete with lesser-known daily “holidays”.
An exclusive My Paper Box booklet/”magazine” provided more details about the items inside this month’s box, as well as a calendar, detailed list of bizarre & unique holidays, helpful tips on a variety of subjects, and more.
Desk Calendar
In addition to the calendar printed inside the booklet, the box also included a separate 2-sided card featuring a September 2023 calendar on one side and a list of unique holidays on the other.
Art Themed Greeting Cards
Three different art-themed greeting cards were included — each with their own coordinating envelope.
The first card featured a loose leaf paper style background paired with the phrase “You’re the art in my Heart” designed to resemble a middle school doodle. 🙂 It came with a dark/navy blue envelope and would be a fun card for the lovable artist in your life.
My nephew’s 8th birthday was last week, so as soon as I saw this card I knew who its recipient would be. It was designed to look like a (G-rated!) graffitied brick wall with “Happy Birth Day” tagged prominently in the center. The inside was blank, lending plenty of space for my daughters to draw Zelda characters for the video game loving b-day boy. 🙂
The final card featured colorful doodles surrounding an art easel with the inspirational message “Everything you can imagine is real”. Inside, a second message read “Good luck on all your journeys.”. A great card for someone leaving/starting a job or school, moving out for the first time, and other major milestones.
Loose Leaf Doodle Organization Notepad
September’s box included 3 different notepads — all with fun art-themed designs. The first (and largest) of the three measured roughly 8 inches tall by 5 inches wide and featured fun “sectioned” layout with various sections for doodling, list making, and more. My name was printed in the top right corner in red text, while the quote “Creativity is a way of sharing your soul with the world.” was centered all the way at the bottom.
Colorful Doodles/Easel Notepad
The second notepad had the same colorful doodle theme as the greeting card shown earlier, but with a larger blank easel for creating your own messages, artwork, doodles, etc. It measured about 5 inches tall by 4 inches wide and included my name centered at the top in blue text.
Graffiti Notepad
The last notepad this month was graffiti themed with an all-over white brick wall background and a centered “Wear your heart on your sleeve” graphic at the top. My name was “tagged” on the bottom in red. This pad was mid-size and measured 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide.
Blank Canvas Ruler
I was actually pretty excited to find this thin plastic ruler in this month’s box. Whenever I needed to measure something for a review, I’d have to stop and retrieve my trusty wooden ruler from the kitchen drawer. — But not anymore! This super thin/flexible 8-inch ruler easily tucks into my planner, keeping it at arm’s reach at all times. It also doubles as a bookmark/page holder. What’s not to love? 😉
Easel Notes
How adorable is this little wooden easel/notepad holder?! — The easel measures slightly over 3 inches high and can be propped up to hold the provided 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch square notepad. Each page is printed with a different “frame” style to surround all of your mini doodle masterpieces. Too cute!
Postcards
September’s box also included 3 art-themed postcards that utilized the same designs from the greeting cards and notepads.
Blank easel/colorful doodles design.
Brick wall/graffiti theme.
Loose leaf paper/doodle design.
Sanford -ISH Erasable Colored Pencils
The final item was a pack of colored mechanical pencils that are erasable. Not only that, but they even show up on black paper. Very cool! The pack consisted of three pencils in pink, blue, and purple. I decided not to open them up right away so I can stash them away without my kids stealing them before I can try ’em out. 😉
September’s My Paper Box included plenty of stationery supplies to help inspire your creativity & get your doodle on! My personal favorites this time were the much appreciated ruler, adorable easel/note holder, greeting cards, and unique pencil set. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first Grand Subscription box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
