Let’s see what’s in the November 2018 My Zodiac Box!
Everything was shipped in a white box with a My Zodiac Box logo sticker on top.
A peek inside!
An insert card opened up to reveal all of the contents of November’s box. I forgot to snap a photo of it, but the reverse side of the card included my horoscope for November, as read by Ancasta Day.
Jasper and Quartz Cast Iron Cauldron
This mini cast iron cauldron is ideal for burning resin incense, holding tea light candles, smudging, and more. It measures roughly 3 inches in diameter and features a thin handle & 3 sturdy legs. I’m not sure exactly what I’ll be using it for, but I like it!
New Age Dream Spirit Smudge Stick
A powerful tool for purification and spiritual blessing, sage sticks are used in an energy cleansing ritual known as smudging. To use this smudge stick, simply ignite it with a match or lighter — making sure to do so with a clear mind and good intentions. Hold at about a 45 degree angle pointing the tip down toward the flame, allowing it to burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then blow out. Then, with smoking sage stick in hand, walk around your workspace, home, car, bathroom or anywhere you would like to clear the energy.
Jasper and Quartz Dreamcatcher Box
I wasn’t able to locate this exact item online, so I’m not too sure about its origin or what type of wood it’s made from. It measures roughly 6″ x 4″ x 2″ and features a dreamcatcher design carved into the lid hinged lid. The quality doesn’t seem the best (rough edges, visible glue & uneven wood inside), but it’s certainly usable.
Arabella Crystals Leo Candle
I was excited to see a candle included in this month’s My Zodiac Box and even more so when I actually removed the lid. — It smells SO good! I was expecting more of an earthy scent, so the sweet smell of vanilla & cinnamon was a nice surprise. The candle is made with hand poured American-grown soy wax, wood wicks, and premium fragrance oils. There’s even a Tigers Eye stone is hidden within the wax, which you can wash off and add to your collection. Cool!
Sailor Paper Company Leo Dream Journal
A simple journal for recording your dreams. The cover features a pretty purple & gold agate-inspired design, with the inside consisting of standard lined pages.
Astral Travel & Lucid Dreaming Kit
The remaining items are all part of kit to help you encourage lucid dreaming experiences and astral traveling. The card above detailed the techniques to be used for lucid dreaming, while the reverse side focused on astral travel.
A second 2-sided card listed all of the components of the kit and how to use them.
Mugwort Sachet
Mugwort is an all natural herb that’s said to “enhance astral projection, lucid dreaming and other altered states of consciousness”. It’s suggested that you keep this sachet under your pillow while you sleep to encourage these states.
Dreamcatcher
Placed above your bed, dreamcatchers are a spiritual tool used by Native Americans to “catch” bad dreams in its web, while letting the good/positive ones glide down the feathers to the sleeper below. Using this will add a sense of wellbeing when attempting lucid dreaming and astral traveling.
Gemstones
Three gemstones were also included in the kit. Shamanic Dream Stones (aka Lodolite, Garden Quartz, or Inclusion Quartz) aid in emotional healing by releasing past-life trauma or negative early childhood memories. Blue Kyanite are excellent third eye chakra stones that can open psychic abilities, especially during meditation. Finally, Angelite is a soothing, uplifting stone that can help balance the physical & etheric energies, create a psychic shield of protection, and promote peace. These stones can all be used in assisting with lucid dreaming and astral travel.
