Let’s see what’s in the Winter 2019 MyFempowerment box!
Everything was shipped in a plain white box with a MyFempowerment sticker in the center.
A peek inside!
A tri-fold info sheet listed all of the items in the Winter 2019 box, along with their retail values and a brief introduction to the women who created each one.
PleaseNotes Guided Affirmation Journal ($34.95)
Created by Cheryl Sutherland — transition strategist, speaker and entrepreneur helping others become their favorite version of themselves — this guided affirmation journal will help you work on yourself from the inside out. Consisting of 200 pages, the journal starts with a 16-page workbook to get your creative juices flowing, followed by 164 lined pages, 10 blank pages, and 10 “dot” pages. The book also features a collection of affirmations and positive quotes that were handpicked to be both relatable and inspirational.
Graham Street Ext. Focus and Clarity Candle ($12)
Graham Street Ext. is a bath, body, and candle company founded by Sarah — a mom, interior design student, and veteran who served in both Iraq & Afghanistan. I wasn’t able to find this company’s website, but I’m always more than happy to receive a new candle. 🙂 “Focus and Clarity” is made with hand-poured soy wax and has a light, soothing peppermint(?) scent.
Pursue Your Potential Macro Guide and Workout Routines ($100)
Taylor Lakin is a certified personal trainer who offers both in-person and online exercise & nutrition coaching. She specializes in helping women pursue their potential, in and out of the gym. Included with October’s box were 3 free training and nutrition guides from Taylor:
- 5-Day Training Routine: A 5-day training split that hits all of your major muscle groups with workouts and video demonstrations
- 7-Day Ab Challenge and Guide: 7 days of effective, versatile core workouts with videos, tips and tricks to do them right
- Macro Guide: Your one-stop guide to understanding macros and tracking
The guides were in pdf format and included full instructions, tips, links to videos, and more.
MyFempowerment Big Mug ($18.99)
In addition to the subscription box, MyFempowerment has also launched private products featuring their namesake. I wasn’t able to find this for sale on their site, so I’m not sure how many ounces it is, but it’s definitely larger than a “standard” sized mug. With its speckled design and black rim, it has the look of a stainless steel/enamel mug, but it’s actually ceramic. I’m just hoping it’s dishwasher/microwave safe… (I’ll update this post if I find an answer!)
10th Avenue Tea Instant Chai Tea Matcha ($9.99)
Founded by two moms who loved tea but hated the process — messy tea bags, long steeping times, etc. — this instant tea was the answer to their desire for more convenient tea making. To enjoy a quick & tasty cup of chai, simply sprinkle 4-5 shakes of the bottle into hot or cold water, stir, and drink up. The power is all natural and contains no calories, sugar, or preservatives.
Naive Necessities Lip Scrub & Lip Balm ($12)
Jessica Lehman founded Naive Necessities after she discovered her son was having major reactions to ingredients to everyday items. All of her bath, body, and wellness products are made using natural ingredients and are completely free of dyes, parabens, synthetic ingredients & harsh chemicals. Subscribers received an exfoliating lip scrub, as well as a nourishing lip balm — both scented with natural peppermint.
Pickle’s Potions Natural Immunity Booster ($6)
Pickle’s Potions is a natural skincare company that uses locally sourced ingredients blended with wild & homegrown organic herbs and flowers. This therapeutic oil roll-on was designed to help fight off an oncoming cold by boosting your immune system and killing germs. It contains a fragrant blend of essential oils including oregano, clove, eucalyptus, cinnamon, lemon, orange, and rosemary that smells amazing.
HomeFree Cookies ($4.50)
Mmm… I haven’t had these vegan-friendly cookies in a long time so I was thrilled to see not one, not two, but THREE packs of them inside this season’s box! Founded by a mom whose child has food allergies, HomeFree cookies are not only vegan, but also non-GMO, kosher, and gluten-free. Flavors included were Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Mint, and Double Chocolate Chip. Yum!!
I love checking out new women’s lifestyle boxes, so I really had fun unboxing the Winter 2019 MyFempowerment box. I was impressed with the overall variety of items and it was nice to learn a bit about the women who created them. My personal favorites were the Graham Street Ext. Candle, MyFempowerment Mug, Pickle’s Potions Immunity Booster, and of course those HomeFree Cookies! 😀 – Remember, for a limited time you can save 15% on your first box with coupon code “ROSE15“!
