Let’s see what’s in my August 2020 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink polymailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
Here are all of my pieces! — I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and a necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did!
Ramonda Dress in Coffee
I practically live in dresses, so I was happy to see this comfy dress in the perfect shade for fall. When I first tried it on, I felt like it was a little too loose until I realized that it’s more of a swing dress and is supposed to be extra flow-y. The material is super light, soft, and — it has POCKETS! This will be a great casual dress to pair with leggings as we ease into the cooler months.
Harlow Leggings in Charcoal
Speaking of leggings… I was also happy to see these dark gray (charcoal) colored leggings included in my shipment. This is another article of clothing that I wear on the daily (when it’s cold enough) so it’s always nice to add another pair to my collection. While I wasn’t too crazy about the ribbed(?) detailing at first, it didn’t really bother me once I slid them on. The fit was perfect, so no complaints.
Julia Top in Ash Mint
When I pulled this out of the bag, I immediately knew it wasn’t my style… When I tried it on, it was confirmed. 😉 I don’t have a full-on aversion to lace, but I only like it in small doses (and typically on dresses). I also wasn’t a fan of this turquoise color, which I promptly added to the “colors to avoid” section of my style profile.
Lyngel Top in Grey Mist
Would I normally choose a top with wooden button-like accents? Nope. Will I wear this around the house to be comfy in regardless? Yep! I do like the soft grey color and how flow-y it is, which is why it’ll be nice to lounge around in despite the weird buttons. 😉
Rubby Skinny in Ginger
Like the turquoise lace top, these brown pants were another instant “nope”. Leggings are honestly the only type of pants that I wear and trying these thicker/stiffer pants on reminded me why. While they did have some stretch to them, they still felt stiff and awkward. I also didn’t like that the bottoms didn’t hug my ankles like my beloved leggings do. Sorry, pants. I’m just a leggings girl.
Rumie Silver Necklace
I’ve been all about longer necklaces lately, so I was happy to see this pretty silver pendant necklace in the package. It features a large jade-colored stone, which when worn sits right below the breast bone.
Once I decide which items to keep, I could simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
While a couple pieces weren’t exactly my style, I still enjoyed trying on all of the pieces from my Nadine West shipment. Plus, anything that wasn’t a good fit could be sent back at no charge to me! My personal favorites (definite keepers!) were the Ramonda dress, Harlow leggings, and Rumie necklace. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $15 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “ROSEBUDS15“! — OR — Waive the shipping fee on your first package with coupon code “NADINE“!
