Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can select from 3 different coupon code offers:
- Save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “DEC25ROSEBUDS“
- Save $15 on any item in your package & get free shipping with coupon code “NEWNADINE15“
- Waive the shipping fee on your first package with coupon code “NADINE“
Let’s see what’s in my December 2020 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink polymailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 1 top, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 2 dresses, 1 hat, and 1 mask.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did!
Wrenna Skinny in Olive
I’ve never really been sold on the whole jeggings thing, but once I slipped into the olive green pair above I had an INSTANT change of heart. They are SO freakin’ comfortable! — And look a bit more “put together” than the plain ol’ leggings I wear on the daily. The fit was absolutely perfect and they had plenty of stretch to them which also helped with the comfiness factor. LOVE these! 😀
Paige Pink & Gray Sweater
Another clothing item that I own very few of? Sweaters. Since leggings are my “bottoms” of choice during the autumn/winter, I really have no need for sweaters unless they’re in cardigan form. HOWEVER, now that I have my first pair of jeggings, I can totally rock the cozy pink & gray striped piece above without looking like a major frump. Granted, I do wish it was a little longer (it hits right above my hip bones), but I can always layer it with a tee to get better coverage. 🙂
Yena Black/Leopard Print Dress
Okay, so I have to start by saying that I detest clothing with animal prints. So much so, that I secretly hoped that this dress would be ill-fitting just so I wouldn’t feel bad about not wearing it. Welp… Joke’s on me because the fit was awesome. It was flow-y and comfortable, yet still form-fitting enough to not look like a sack. That said, will I proudly wear this dress out and about? Nope. But I’ll most definitely be sporting it around the house — likely with a cardigan to cover the shoulders. 😉
Irena Leggings in Black
Oh, black leggings, how I love thee! Needless to say, I was happy to see my favorite wardrobe staple in this month’s package. Not only was the fit spot-on, but these are some of the softest leggings I’ve ever worn. SO much nicer than my current Kohl’s house brand pairs.
Letitia Dress in Black
Although it looks a bit faded, I assure you the dress above is true black in color. I just lightened the photos a bit to better show the seam detail(s). Being that it was solid black, I was really hoping to like this piece but I wasn’t too crazy about the fit. It’s cut to be form-fitting throughout the mid-section and become more flow-y at the flared bottom. I’m more of an A-line girl myself, so this was a miss.
Danice Beanie
Due to the thin, non-knit material of this beanie, I’d say it’s more of a fashion accessory than something you’d actually wear to keep your head warm. It’s cute if you like the slouchy beanie look, but don’t rely on it to keep you toasty when the snow flies.
Fashion Mask
Surprisingly, this is the first reusable mask that I’ve received in a subscription box since the pandemic began. It features a cute black & white plaid design with adjustable straps. The material is very soft and a definite upgrade (at least looks-wise) from my usual plain blue surgical masks.
Once I decide which items to keep, I could simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
I think my December Nadine West shipment was my favorite one to date! Although I wasn’t crazy about the leopard print details on one dress and the snug fit of the other, I was still happy with (and will wear) 6 out of the 7 items that I was sent. Not bad for someone as picky about clothing as I am! 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can select from 3 different coupon code offers:
