Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my December 2023 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Kiera Sweater in Black & Grey
I don’t receive sweaters from Nadine West very often, so this was a fun surprise. I’m not 100% sold on the pattern, but I do appreciate that it’s “different”. I’m digging the varying knit styles & textures throughout (esp. those pink fuzzy patches!) and its subtle black/white/pink color scheme. The fit was a little too large on me, though it’s possible that it’s just purposefully oversized.
Madison Top in Yellow & White Floral
I recently updated my style profile to include floral patterns, but after receiving this top I went ahead and removed that preference. 😉 I guess I’m a lot more specific/picky with the types of floral patterns I prefer and this one just isn’t it. — I could definitely see some of my less “floral averse” relatives rocking this though!
Caryl Dress in Pink
I wasn’t expecting this dress to be as snug as it was, so it caught me off guard… It’s also quite short for someone born prior to the 80’s. 😉 That said, it would be absolutely adorable for someone in their teens/20’s. It’s very stretchy/form-fitting at the waist and flairs out nicely past the hips. Major figure skater vibes!
Ronnie Pants in Cream
I’m not sure why these are referred to as “Ronnie” pants when you can clearly see the Nicole Miller Sport tag. 😉 Names/labels aside, these cream-colored joggers are just what I look for when it comes to cozy, stay at home pants. They’re made with a super soft (yet breathable) material, have an adjustable drawstring waist, functional pockets, and not-t00-tight tapered bottoms. Yay for comfort!
Everleigh Pants in Black
Unfortunately, any pants that don’t fall into the category of leggings, jeggings, or joggers are an instant miss for me. I’m all about being comfy. The solid black pants above are aren’t super dressy, but still look to be what I’d consider business casual. While I’m sure they’re great for those who need to look more professional, but it’s a no from me dawg. 😉
Gillian Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a cute layered necklace featuring a geometric/diamond-shaped theme. There were three “layers” (chains) in all — the shortest with small silver diamond shapes along the chain, the longest with a larger open diamond-shaped pendant, and a “plain” middle/center chain.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My December 2023 Nadine West shipment included more misses than hits this time, but it happens. (Good thing they can all be sent back for free! ) My favorites this time were the Nicole Miller Joggers and Gillian Necklace. — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
