Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my December 2024 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $17.99 styling fee that can be credited towards your purchase.
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper (one of my bundles didn’t stay bundled 😉 .
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Pink Republic Helen Sweater Top in Heather Gray
It’s impossible to tell from the photos alone, but this sweater is has a subtle furry/fluffy(?) texture to its surface that makes it insanely soft & cozy. At first I wasn’t sold on the faux hoodie style that’s actually a loose cowl neck, but once I tried it on I didn’t mind at all. The sheer coziness of it was enough to win me over. The length is nice too, with the back being a tad bit longer than the front — but not at all cropped (yay!).
Lush Alena Top in Taupe
While I loved the length of the first top, the second one fell a little short. Literally. 😉 It wasn’t short enough to reveal any skin, but it was definitely out of my comfort zone. I didn’t mind the style otherwise, with its neutral taupe color and ribbed texture. I mean, I didn’t love it, but it wasn’t awful. 😉
Entro Taliyah Dress in White
Since I knew it wasn’t my style at all, I almost didn’t try this dress on… But I went ahead and did and I kind of wish I didn’t because I looked absolutely ridiculous. Like, I literally laughed out loud. I felt like a quirky office receptionist straight out of 1986. Needless to say, this was not a winner.
Laundry Kaia Pants in Brown
I’m all about flared pants/leggings these days, and these ones did not disappoint! They have a snug, flattering fit and the material is super soft & stretchy. I also dig the wide waistband and rich shade of brown. I want them in every color! Oh, and they even have zippered pockets on both sides! 😀
Nicole Miller Alea Pants in Khaki
These pants are made of a very lightweight, almost parachute-like material. Maybe like an old school windbreaker, but thinner. I’m not sure if they’re designed to be athletic wear or what, but I couldn’t get past the very roomy backside. I don’t know if these were previously tried on by someone with ample booty or if they’re just made that way. Whatever the case, they were not flattering in the least bit.
Amela Necklace in Rhodium
This month’s jewelry item was a short, layered necklace consisting of three different connected chains. Each one was adorned with shiny white pearl beads, spaced about an inch apart. This would be a great accessory to pair with a simple solid-colored dress for the holidays. 🙂
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My December 2024 Nadine West shipment once again included an even amount of both hits and misses. (I’m extremely picky when it comes to clothing, so that’s a win in my book!) My favorites this time were the Pink Republic Helen Sweater, Laundry Kaia Pants, and Amela Necklace!
