Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can select from 2 different coupon code offers:
- Save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“
- Waive the shipping fee on your first package with coupon code “NADINE“
Let’s see what’s in my January 2021 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink polymailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did!
Kenzel Top in Army Green
Since I wear dresses 99.7% of the time (or more), I don’t get too excited about tops. I also don’t gravitate towards bell sleeves, so I was quite surprised at how nice this shirt looked on me when I tried it on. That said, would I actually wear it? Not likely. Although, if it came in dress form, I’d totally consider it. 😉
Marianna A-Line Dress in Black
Speaking of dresses… I was thrilled to see a solid black, long-sleeved dress in this month’s shipment! It’s 100% my style. — Simple, flow-y, and it has POCKETS! Now, do I ever actually use the pockets in my dresses? Nope. But I sure like having them at the ready… for those… storage emergencies?
Lela Leggings in Black
It’s hard to tell from the photo above, but these leggings were SMALL. Like, kid’s size small. The tag read “S/M”, but they almost seemed like an XS. I almost didn’t even bother attempting to get them on, but figured I should at least give it a try. I managed to get one full leg on, but wouldn’t stretch them out far enough to insert my other leg. Ah well.
Sharon Pants in Black
As with tops, I rarely wear pants. Leggings/jeggings, yes. Pants, no. Basically, if it doesn’t hug every curve and… ankle, it’s not for me. This pair fit pretty well throughout the leg, but once it got to my calves/ankles the “pants-ness” was evident. 😉
Naomi Top in Black
As with the green top above, this black piece fit surprisingly well and was quite flattering when I tried it on. I liked that it was solid black and the ribbed material was a nice change from the other tops I’ve received. The criss-cross pattern on the neckline was cute, though I could have done without the gold accent in the center.
Gladiz Necklace in Silver
I’ve been gravitating towards longer necklaces these days, so I was happy to see this piece in January’s shipment. The silver chain is studded with a series of oval-shaped charms in patterns of two and three. This will go nicely with the solid black dress above. 🙂
Once I decide which items to keep, I could simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
Although some of the items in this month’s Nadine West shipment weren’t really my style, I still enjoyed trying everything on and seeing how it looked. My favorite piece was the black dress, hands down! I can never have too many solid black dresses. 😉 — Remember, for a limited time you can select from 2 different coupon code offers:
