Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
Let’s see what’s in my January 2022 Nadine West package!
As you can see, this month’s package ran into a bit of trouble while in transit and was repackaged by the post office. — Thankfully, all of the items were still inside…
…Though they were no longer wrapped in their usual bright pink tissue paper “bundles”. — Of all the things to be missing, I’m thankful it was the tissue paper. 😉
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Zenia Top in Black/Charcoal Stripe
I love longer shirts like the top/tunic(?) above, as they can easily be paired with leggings and almost feel more like a dress (which I wear 99.9% of the time). My wardrobe consists mostly of black and gray so this shirt is absolutely something I would have chosen myself. The fit is a bit looser than I would prefer, but it’s super comfy and great for lazing around.
Stephine Top in Olive
Another casual piece, this olive green top features a wide crew neck collar, long sleeves with striped/banded cuffs, and a “twisted” knot-like detail at the bottom. I don’t mind the color scheme, but I’m not a big fan of “knot” look… It also looks like it may need some ironing, which I try to avoid at all costs. 😉
Leslie Shirtdress in Olive
First, this dress looks more like a grayish shade than olive. Second, I wish there was a “no cut-outs/weird details” option for those of us who favor a “less is more” look when it comes to clothing. I’m sure a lot of people/subscribers like pieces with a bit of “flair”, but I’m just not one of them.
Abbey Jeggings in Black
While I’m obviously not a fan of the criss-cross/button combo on these jeggings, I have to admit that they do fit quite nicely so I’ll let it slide. Also, it’s easy enough to fully cover it up with a long enough top/tunic. 😉 Oh! And they have functional pockets, which is always a plus when it comes to jeggings (or any article of clothing really).
Eleanor Leggings in Kelly Green
These leggings look more turquoise/teal in the photos above, but in real life they’re much… greener. Not exactly a color I would choose for myself, but they do fit nicely and of course I appreciate the side pockets (though I’d never actually, you know, use them for anything).
Sticks and Stones Necklace in Rhodium
This month’s jewelry item was a silver necklace comprised of double chains — with the shorter featuring a small open circle charm and the longer featuring a flat bar-style charm/pendant. A nice piece to achieve an easy layered look.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My January 2022 Nadine West shipment included a collection of weather-appropriate (yay, long sleeves!) pieces. My personal favorites were the Zenia top, Eleanor leggings, and Abbey jeggings. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
