Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my January 2024 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 1 bottom (pants), 1 dress, 1 bag, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Erika Top in Fuchsia
I’m all about simplicity when it comes to clothing and love solid-colored basics like the piece above. Although it resembles a sweatshirt, the top is more of a thinner (a little thicker than t-shirt) material with sweatshirt-like hems/cuffs. It’s great for wearing on its own in the spring/fall or pairing with a cardigan in the cooler winter months.
Seirra Jacket in Blush
I’m pretty sure this is the first jacket I’ve received from Nadine West. (I didn’t even know that they offered them!) That said, I wouldn’t necessarily wear this to protect me from the elements as it’s made of 100% cotton and is rather thin. However, it would definitely make a nice layering piece for those early spring “Is it warm enough for just a t-shirt yet, or no?” days. I like its pretty salmon/dark pink color and the fact that it has both a zipper and snaps. Plenty of pockets too!
Lorna Dress in Navy Floral
I forgot to remove “floral” from my list of un-preferred patterns, so I made sure to do that right after I saw this wrap dress. 😉 — It’s not horrible by any means, but it’s just not my preferred style. I do like the flattering cinched waist and elastic sleeves.
Lucille Pants in Denim
Yay, jeggings! — I recently bought a new pair of actual jeans and they just can’t compare to the amazing comfort of good ol’ jeggings. Initially, the wide-ish waist band kind of made me think of maternity clothes or pull-on toddler jeans… But that was easy enough to dismiss, considering anything I’d wear with them would cover that area right up. The “rips” could have been a little more randomly placed instead of all in a straight line, but it’s not a dealbreaker. 😉
Diana Bag in Black
Another Nadine West “first” for me — a bag! This solid black crossbody bag features a quilted design/texture on the main pocket and smooth faux leather making up the rest. It also has a long fully adjustable strap and two generously sized zippered compartments/pockets. Unsurprisingly, one of my tweens has already claimed this for herself. 🙂
Darlene Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a short silver necklace featuring an oval pendant held in place by each end of the chain. It’s a bit hard to tell from the photos, but the pendant was smooth/unadorned for a minimalistic look.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My January 2024 Nadine West shipment included two “new to me” items — a jacket and a bag! It was fun to receive something out of the ordinary. 🙂 My favorites this time were the Erika Top, Lucille Pants, and Diana Bag (for my kiddo). — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
