Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my January 2025 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $17.99 styling fee that can be credited towards your purchase.
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Casual Country Outfitters Merin Top in Pink
I don’t think I’ve owned a plaid button down shirt since my grunge days (waaay back in the 90’s) but I’m totally cool with adding one to my wardrobe again. While not thick flannel like the ones I used to wear, the version above is still soft and comfy (just not super warm). It would be perfect for layering and/or pairing with leggings for an easy casual look.
Body Glove Fleece Vest in Cream
Fun fact: I’ve never worn a vest. Ever. Even when Old Navy (or was it Gap?) promoted them like crazy at one point. I just wasn’t a fan. Will the super soft, plush-like cream-colored piece above change my mind? No. No it will not. 😉
Alanis Dress in Black
While I appreciate that this dress is solid black — my #1 choice when it comes to any article of clothing, I’m not too crazy about the lower than normal hemline (drop waist?). I’m definitely more of an A-line fan. I also don’t love the turtleneck part. Yes, I’m insanely picky. 😉
Laundry Andrea Flare Legging with Pocket in Brown
Okay, now these pants I LOVE. Not only are they flared (which I’m all about lately), but they’re also fleece lined for extra warmth during these frigid winter days. I really like their neutral-ish brown color, as well as the subtle ribbed texture and functional side pockets. Big win here!
Laundry Kylene Jogger in Gray
As mentioned above, I’ve been in my “flare era” lately so I wasn’t too excited about these tapered joggers. However, I did like the fact that they’re made by the same brand as the first pair, that they’re a nice neutral gray, and that they also have functional pockets.
Shanie Necklace in Rhodium
This month’s jewelry item was a silver layered necklace consisting of three different size/length chains. The smallest “inner” chain featured a flat herringbone(?) design, the middle length was a simple ball chain, and the third/longest was a cable chain that held a rectangular bejeweled pendant.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My January 2025 Nadine West shipment once again included an even amount of both hits and misses. (I’m extremely picky when it comes to clothing, so that’s a win in my book!) My favorites this time were the Laundry Andrea Flare Leggings, Casual Country Outfitters Plaid Shirt, and Shanie Necklace. 🙂
