Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my July 2023 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 1 bottom (pants/leggings), 1 dress, 1 necklace, and 1 pair of sunglasses.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Work Crush Top in Rose Pink
I actually received a similar style shirt not too long ago, but with long sleeves & a different color combo and it’s become one of my favorites. — The material is SO soft and comfy! I didn’t realize it when I took the photos, but you can see the Nadine West hang tag through the white part of the shirt. It’s not a stain or weird half-printed logo. 😉
Shiela Rose Emmie Tank in Light Teal
I love the color of this summery tank, but the style is a little too unforgiving for my current not-exactly-toned mom bod. 😉 The ruching(?) on the sides is cute though and would work great for someone without the desire to hide their tummy area. Like my super skinny tweens, for example. A 40-something year old mom who hasn’t stepped on an exercise machine in over a year? Ehh, not so much.
Shiela Rose Tae Jogger in Charcoal
Okay, now this is more my style! — Super comfy and casual. That said, I’m not someone who’s cool with wearing sweats/pj’s in public, so these joggers will be regulated to “cozy, post-shower evening clothes”. They’re the ultimate in “cozy pants” with their adjustable drawstring, tapered bottoms, and functional pockets. Perfection!
Marcie Shift Dress in Mustard
Okay, I’m not gonna lie… I really don’t care for this dress. When I pulled it out of the bag, it immediately reminded me of a scarecrow. And as much as I love all things autumn, I do not want to resemble something made to scare birds away. 😉 However, to be fair I decided to include a photo of the dress styled on an actual human and it honestly doesn’t look all that bad. (It’s just not for me.)
Selene Sunglasses in Gold
I believe this is the first time that I’ve received a pair of sunglasses from Nadine West. (Unfortunately, I’m not actually able to use them since I wear prescription glasses.) These are definitely for those who like to make a statement with their sunnies, as the oversized frames are not only an almost octagonal(?) shape, but they’re also made of shiny gold metal. Unique, indeed!
Analyn Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a short silver necklace with three small open circle/ring charms. Two charms looked to be stamped with what I think were roman numerals, while the other featured a row of pretty shimmering crystals. The openings are large enough so that you could remove one (or all) of the charms if you ever desired.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My July 2023 Nadine West shipment had a few more misses than usual, but that’s never a problem since they make it so easy to send back anything that doesn’t work out. My favorites this time were the Shiela Rose Tae Joggers, Work Crush top, and Analyn necklace. — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Dee
I think they really need to read styles and take our advice in consideration because I pretty much got the same thing you did but a dress I can fit 3 of me in and nothing I would wear at all besides the jewelry everything was very 80s mom like.
