Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my November 2024 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $17.99 styling fee that can be credited towards your purchase.
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants), 1 dress, and 1 bag.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Olive & Oak Long Sleeve Top in Olive Green
Thanks to my poor editing, this top looks a slightly different shade of green in each photo. (Oops!) In person, I’d say it’s the closest to the first photo — a rich olive green. Its wrap style and slightly puffed shoulders, along with the elastic-hemmed bottom & sleeves are all plusses for me — so I really wish it wasn’t cropped. 🙁 Granted, it’s not a high crop as it sits just above my waist. But still, not exactly middle aged mom friendly. 😉
Carrine Top in Powder Pink
This pretty pink top is constructed of a soft, lightweight sweater material that’s great for “transition” weather when it’s too warm for thick knit pieces, but too cold for plain tees. It has a nice stretch to it, with a snugger body-hugging fit that’s flattering if you have no trouble spots to hide. 😉 The large v-neck collar is accented with “twist” style details on either side.
Joie de Vivre Textured Knit Midi Belted Dress
I love peasant-style sleeves/necklines on dresses, so I was excited to try this one on. The fit was perfect, helped by the elastic waist and adjustable belt. I’m not sure how to describe the pattern, but it’s definitely… busy. Sort of giving 70’s vibes? The length is closer to a true maxi, with just a few inches above my ankles. I’m not crazy about the color scheme (or pattern), but I love the style & fit.
Maze Sheila Scuba Pants in Black
While these pants could definitely pass as “business casual” appropriate, they’re also tight-fitting enough to look like regular leggings — if you wear a shirt long enough to cover the pockets, that is. 😉 They’re very soft and have a good stretch to them. I’m not sure exactly what makes them “slimming” as the tag states, but they definitely had a flattering fit.
Express Nimah Pants in Black
I was a little confused by these jeans, as they looked quite large on the hanger but wouldn’t go passed my hips when I went to try them on. After investigating (looking at the tag inside), I discovered that they’re a size “2R” — which I’m assuming is a size 2 regular? I’m normally a size 8 (or medium), so it made sense why I wasn’t able to squeeze into them. Ah well.
AR New York Kathryn Bag in Pink
The final item was a break from the usual jewelry item. — A little pink purse/backpack! My 12-year-old daughter immediately asked if she could have it when she saw it in my “to be photographed pile”, as her favorite color is pink. 🙂 The bag features gold colored hardware, adjustable straps, and plenty of pockets.
My November 2024 Nadine West shipment once again included an even amount of both hits and misses. My favorites this time were the Carrine Top, Joie de Vivre Textured Midi Belted Dress, Maze Scuba Pants, and AR New York Kathryn Bag!
