Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
Let’s see what’s in my October 2021 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into a single bundle and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Selena Top in Black & White Stripe
This basic black and white striped tee features a little extra flair with its cute tie detail on the bottom left (er, right in photo). It has a wide scoop neck collar and falls slightly longer in the back. A great go-to piece that would pair nicely with jeans/jeggings.
Ketty Jeggings in Black
Speaking of leggings/jeggings… The black pair above by Ketty features a dark wash with gold stitching and four totally functional pockets (no faux pockets here!). They also have a touch of bling, thanks to the trio of little round crystal details below each of the front pockets, as well as another four on the back.
Kenna Dress in Ash Gray
I received a similar dress to this one a few months back and although I like this color better (the other was salmon/pink), I just don’t love the style. I don’t mind the ruffles at the bottom, but the top just looks too plain in comparison. That said, I decided to use the other dress as a comfy nightgown so I’m thinking this will be joining her in my pj drawer. 😉
Glenda Top in Forest Green
Aside from perfectly matching my tattoo (ha!), I can’t say that this top is very “me”. I do like the length (and color), but the cut-out detailing on the sleeves just isn’t a look I can personally get down with. I feel like I would look… basket-y? … Or like my upper arms were stuck in a Chinese finger trap. (Okay, that was a bit of a stretch, but I think you get the idea. It’s a no.)
Laced Capri Leggings in Charcoal
These capri leggings totally remind me of the lace-bottomed tights/leggings I used to rock under my short skirts in the mid-90’s. (And possibly 80’s? Yeah, I’m old.) Crazy how so many trends tend to come back with very little about them changed… Anywhooo… Although these are cute and I’m a fan of the color, I’m very anti-capri so these are sadly a miss.
Laisa Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a long silver necklace featuring an open circle pendant with a tassel of chains strung at the bottom. A nice statement piece to add a little extra flair to your fall ensembles.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
While the majority of my October 2021 Nadine West selections didn’t quite hit the mark, it was still fun to try everything on. My favorite piece was probably the Ketty jeggings, minus the gold stitching and crystal details. Oh, and the Kenna dress aka my new nightgown. 😉 As always, the items that I didn’t care for could be sent right back with no cost to me. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
