Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my October 2022 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) with coupon code “NADINE” or save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 1 top, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 2 dresses, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Sheila Rose Sabrina Dress
First up was this pretty turquoise — maybe emerald green? — colored dress that I absolutely love. It features a pleated chest in the front for a more formal/put-together look, along with a cute keyhole detail in the back. The elastic waist hits me a little higher than a traditional a-line style, but is still very flattering. Its almost jewel-toned shade makes it a great piece for autumn when paired with a cozy cardigan. 🙂
Elisse Dress in Purple
I love a good casual maxi dress, but as you can see from the photos — this one was beyond maxi. I’m 5’7″ and there was at least 5 extra inches that went beyond my feet. It was labeled as a size medium, so I’m not sure why the length was so off. Very strange…
Charlotte Top in Heather Grey
I know there are a lot of people who love “cut-out” details on their clothing. However, I am SO not one of those cut-out lovin’ folks. 😉 Aside from the obvious, this heather grey tee also features tapered/snug-fitting sleeves, a rounded bottom hem, and a comfortable loose fit.
Sheila Rose Theia Ponte in Olive
I’m not sure what kind of wizardry was going on when I took these photos, but the pants above are NOT brown. I repeat, these pants are NOT BROWN. They’re the same olive green shade that you can see in the leading photo with the pink background. (Apparently my iPhone is seeing things a lot differently than my DSLR.) Anywhooo… These GREEN pants didn’t really appeal to me at first, but once I actually tried them on I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit. They’re perfectly snug and although I wish they had pockets (especially on the butt), I’ll say they’re a win.
Loraine Pants in Black
Do these pants look black? Good. Because they are. 😉 Unlike the first pair, this one does have pockets. (Yay!) They also have a snug fit that makes them feel like slightly less stretchy leggings. I appreciate the fact that they’re solid black and have no weird contrasting designs/stitching/buttons. Less is more. 🙂
Aida Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a long silver necklace featuring a large teardrop-shaped pendant comprised of multiple strands of sparkling crystals. My mom is a big fan of bold necklaces, so I know where this piece is headed. 😉
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My October 2022 Nadine West shipment again included an even amount of hits and misses. My favorites this time were the Shiela Rose Sabrina Dress (which I LOVE), Shiela Rose Theia Ponte Pants, and Loraine Pants. — Remember, for a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) with coupon code “NADINE” or save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
