Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my October 2024 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $17.99 styling fee that can be credited towards your purchase.
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Joelle Sweater in Pink/Gray Stripe
First up was a cozy knit sweater with pink, gray, and white horizontal stripes. It featured a classic crew neck collar, full-length sleeves, and a curved “scallop hem” bottom. A nice weather-appropriate choice for October (here in New York, anyway).
Sally Top in Gray
Depending on the lighting, I’d say this top looks a little more beige than gray. Either way, it’s a very versatile neutral shade. It has a cardigan-like V-neck collar with 3 buttons that lead to its peplum style waist. Elastic at the bottom of the sleeves gives it a cute boho vibe.
Ynes Midi Dress in Army Green
This pretty green dress makes me want to craft a flower crown and frolic in the forest with my woodland friends. 😉 The smocking (shirring?) at the top makes for a flattering silhouette and I LOVE the gorgeous olive green color. I would have loved it even more if it were a bit longer — a maxi as opposed to midi — but it works either way. I’m thinking this would be perfect to incorporate into this year’s Halloween costume too (a snail)! 😀
Express Naya Pants
I was a little unsure how I felt about these jeans when I pulled them out of the package because they looked SO BIG. However, once I tried them on I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit. (They could have been a little more snug, but I’m just used to more form-fitting leggings/jeggings.) I’ve been starting to embrace the wide/flare leg style again and these jeans give the perfect “sneakers barley visible” look that I like to aim for. 😉
Express Wella Pants
While the pair prior to these looked too big, these pants looked way too small when I opened them up. — Sadly, my hunch was right and I noticed they had a size 6 tag on the inside (I’m an 8). So with that said, I can’t speak for the fit. However, I do like the neutral color and the fact that it’s another name brand. 🙂
Elina Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a short, layered necklace consisting of two different size/length chains. The smaller “inner” chain featured an interlocking pair of textured rings that can move independently of one another. Pretty!
Free Gift
I also received a free gift in this month’s package — a mini lint roller! I always keep a lint roller nearby when I’m taking product photos, so this was a great addition. I also like that it’s travel-sized in the event that I ever need to bring it with me on the go.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My October 2024 Nadine West shipment once again included an even amount of both hits and misses. (I’m extremely picky when it comes to clothing, so that’s a win in my book!) My favorites this time were the Joelle Sweater, Ynes Midi Dress, Express Naya Pants, Elina Necklace, and free mini lint roller! 😀
