Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
Let’s see what’s in my September 2021 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Gillian Top in Olive
I’ve come to realize that anything that goes on the upper half of your body is considered a “top” according to Nadine West. 😉 The top above is clearly a cardigan and I’m totally a fan. I love its olive green shade, overall length (slightly longer in the front), and rolled/cuffed sleeves. A great layering piece for autumn!
Josy Jeggings in Black
I’m amassing quite an impressive collection of jeggings, thanks to Nadine West. 😉 The black pair above is incredibly comfy (lots of stretch!) and fits like a glove. The front has minimal details (which I like), while the back features a double-arched hem across the butt. The only thing holding these back from perfection are the lack of pockets.
Natalia Dress in Black
I can never have too many solid black dresses! The piece above features a “cold shoulder” design with cut-outs on each side that reveal (obviously) your bare shoulders. The length was perfect — just above the knee on my 5’7″ frame and it had a nice flowy (yet not shapeless) fit.
Love in the Air Top in Black
As someone who tends to avoid clothing with words/phrases on them, I was a little bummed about the tee above. That said, I know I’m in the minority there so I’m not mad. 😉 The shirt is solid black with criss-cross detailing on the collar and the word “LOVE” in a pink/red & white floral print.
Amandine Bottoms in Black
My second pair of “bottoms” were quite similar the to first, except these were more like dress pants than jeggings. The material was still stretchy, but nothing like denim. Fabric button details on the front also gave these a more “work-friendly” vibe. Plus, they feature a layered waistband for ultimate tummy control and support.
I Before U Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a simple silver necklace with an approximately 1.5-inch vertical bar pendant. The chain itself is shorter than many of the other necklaces I’ve gotten from Nadine West (maybe 16 inches?), making it great to wear with v-neck dresses/shirts.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
Aside from the “Love” top, all of my September 2021 Nadine West selections were things that I could easily work into my wardrobe. My personal favorites were the Gillian Top, Josy Jeggings, Natalia Dress, and I Before U Necklace. As always, the items that I didn’t care for could be sent right back with no cost to me. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
