Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my September 2024 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Listicle Cathy Blouse in Light Olive
First up was a high-low top in a neutral light olive green color. I’m not sure if it has a name, but this top features a sort of empire style hem/waist — but above the bust line instead of below. From the hem down, it’s very free-flowing and loose. I’m personally not a huge fan of the high-low look, but at least it’s not short enough in the front to be deemed “cropped”. 😉 It also has a small keyhole button cutout in the back, which somehow seems to elevate this from a mere “tee” to a blouse.
Shiela Rose Sweetheart Tank in Seagrass
I love the pretty blue color of this tank, but it feels a little “young” for a 40-something year old mom. 😉 I’m not even totally sure why… Maybe the gathering in the front? The thicker straps? With that said, I’m sure it would look a lot cuter on my tween girls than on me.
Kierin Maxi Dress in Olive
Hurray for maxi dresses! This pretty empire waist full length maxi dress is perfect for these final hot days of summer. It has a dark olive green & purple color scheme with a floral/filigree pattern throughout. I was a little confused by the double straps at first, until I realized that each strap can move freely through the top/hem of the dress. So while the straps are moveable, they really can’t be adjusted to a different length (I don’t think?).
Express Belinda Pants
I think I’ve gotten a pair of Express brand jeans in the last 3 or 4 Nadine West shipments and I’m 100% cool with that. 🙂 The pair above are more jegging than jean and have an elastic waistband for ultimate comfort. They also have a faux “fly” and pockets on both the front and back. I love the dark wash and lack of extra embellishments.
Hollie Pants in Medium Blue
More jeggings! These ones are similar in color (wash) as the Express pair, but have a series of pre-made rips on the front. Like the first pair, they have a nice stretchy waistband — but unlike the others, they have functional pockets on both the front and back. Despite being a smaller/unknown brand, I almost like the fit of these more than the Express pair.
Armelia Necklace in Rhodium
This month’s jewelry item was a short, layered necklace consisting of three different chains all strung together. Each chain is slightly longer (or shorter) than the other and features various styles & details such as pearls and silver beads. It’s much prettier in person. 🙂
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
Once again, my September 2024 Nadine West shipment included an even amount of both hits and misses. My favorites this time were the Kierin Maxi Dress, Express Jeans (jeggings), Hollie Pants, and Armelia Necklace. — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
