The Other Box is a new subscription box for you and your “other”. Others can be spouses, children, parents… Anyone you love spending time with. Each box includes materials and ideas for a fun activity to enjoy with your “other” of choice. Their mission is for you both to “connect, have fun, and spend intentional quality time together without breaking the bank”.
The Other Box’s box is so cute! This is definitely getting reused.
Each box comes with an activity card that explains the month’s activity and what each item in your box is to be used for. July’s activity was mini golf. The card also includes a “get to know you better” question game that you can play with your other while getting your golf on.
Golf balls – Two cute custom golf balls were included for you and your other. I’m just not sure that you can use your own balls at a mini golf place… Or at least the ones I’ve been to. The last hole on the course is attached to a long tube that sucks the ball down into it so you can’t play another game unless you pay for another ball. Is that the norm? I mean, I guess I could use these balls to get a free game… But I spose getting kicked out of a mini golf course with your other isn’t quite the point of this box. 😉
Water Bottles – Two aluminum water bottles were included to keep you and your other properly hydrated while stealing playing your game of mini golf. These are good sized bottles with clips on top so you can attach them to… um… whatever one would attach a water bottle to(?).
Nuun Tablets – I had never heard of these before. They’re flavored tablets that you drop in your water to help keep you hydrated. They dissolve fast and only contain 5 calories per serving. Included were four tablets of various flavors.
The Other Box is $20/box (plus shipping). They don’t quite have a monthly subscription yet, so right now you can simply buy the boxes as they introduce them (no strings!).
I think the concept of this box is pretty neat, since most “couples” boxes that I’ve seen are only for significant others. I like that this is for any “other” in your life. Even insignificant ones. 😉

My hubby of course!!! We have 3 little girls under the age of 5 and rarely get a date night. This box would be the perfect excuse to get a babysitter
