I was recently sent August’s box for review and was excited to see what was inside!
First look. August’s theme is all about embracing the final days of summer and feeling “gorgeously green”. None of the brands looked familiar, so I couldn’t wait to dig in…
Big Slice Apples – I’ve never seen anything like this before and I’m looking forward to trying them… These are kettle cooked apples flavored with raspberry hibiscus and green coffee extract. Each pouch is only 90 calories and has 30mg of caffeine (probably not a good idea to give these to the kiddos!).
Ellison’s Organics 3-Free Nail Lacquer in “Cast Your Care-ibbeans Away” – Such a pretty color! This polish is 3-free, vegan, gluten free and made in the USA. Love it!
Stall Mates Hypoallergenic Wet Wipe – Stall Mates wipes are alcohol, paraben and fragrance free. They’re also hypoallergenic and safe for the face, hands and body. I’m always using wipes on the girls when we’re out and about, so I’m happy to toss this guy in my bag.
Bella Lynn Deodorant Cream – I’ve never used a deodorant cream, but I’ll give it a go. This is all natural, paraben free, and said to be long-lasting and effective. It also smells like lemongrass, which gives it major bonus points from me. Mmm.
The Good Bean Crispy Crunchy Chickpeas – I love me some chickpeas, but for whatever reason I’m not a big fan of these. I’ve had a few different brands, but they just didn’t do it for me. That said, I think I’ll still give ’em another try. They’re packed with protein and would make a great guilt-free snack.
Molly’s Suds Laundry Powder – Ultra gentle laundry powder that’s free of chemicals, parabens, phosphates, and all that icky stuff. A little is said to go a long way and each of these packets is enough for 2 standard size loads or 4 high efficiency ones.
Artisana Organic Raw Coconut Butter – This is made with 100% organic raw coconut and nothing more. You can use it as a spread, a hair conditioner, or just eat it right out of the package.
Livia Pure Skin Care Creamy Shade Face & Body Protector – This is an all natural, organic sun protectant (SPF 30) lotion. It’s handmade in small batches and the combination of aloe, shea butter, vanilla and sweet almond oil smells amazing.
I’m really happy with the debut Kloverbox… box. It had a nice balance of snacks, personal products, and household items. Variety is good!
