Pennie Post is a brand new subscription service that offers beautifully designed stationery items delivered to you on a monthly basis.
Each package will contain at least 3 different items. These can include greeting cards, note cards, postcards, gift tags, and more. Commonly used cards (Birthday, Thank You, etc) will be sent most often, as well as holiday-themed cards during their corresponding times of the year.
Pennie Post is $11/month (less with 6 and 12 month commitments) and shipping is always included.
I was recently sent their June premier package for review, so let’s have a look!
The items were all mailed inside of this bright red (reddish pink?) envelope. At first I thought it was an invitation to an event that I probably wouldn’t be too stoked about going to, so I was relieved when I saw that it was just stationery. Phew! 😉
Father’s Day Sea Turtles Card – I was excited to see this one cos I LOVE turtles! Plus, I totally haven’t bought my husband a Father’s Day card yet… and now I don’t have to. Woo! This adorable card features a watercolor daddy and baby sea turtle on textured paper with a solid brown envelope. I think I might try to draw in a second turtle to represent both girls. And maybe add bows to their heads. 😉
Hi Hula Girl Card – This is a fun card to send to just about anyone “just because”. It features a sweet little hula girl drawing with a matching Hawaiian/hula themed envelope. I love having “basic” cards like this on hand, cos you never know when you’ll need one and it saves a trip to the store.
Teal Dotted Notecard – The most basic of the basic here. This notecard (with matching envelope) is perfect to tuck inside a gift or use to send a quick “thank you”. The neutral colors are especially good for male recipients… I think most guys would appreciate this simple, no frills card way more than a flowery, hula girl one. Well, most guys anyway. (If they did prefer the hula one, I think they’d keep that on the down-low.)
Little Lemon Enclosure – My photo doesn’t quite do this little guy justice. It’s a lot brighter/lemon-ier in person. This is a tiny, business-card sized notecard that would be great for tucking into a gift or mailing along with a package. Cute!
The June mailing from Pennie Post was just as they promise on their site… A perfectly timed “holiday” (Father’s Day) card, as well as 3 other “everyday” stationery items. I’d say it was a great introduction to their service and a good value as well. Greeting cards are not cheap, and when you add the convenience of having these delivered right to your door, it’s a win/win.
Pennie Post has kindly offered to give one of my lucky readers a free 3-month membership! Yay! Just enter via the Rafflecopter below.
Good luck! 🙂
