Norlii is a bi-monthly Scandinavian home subscription box that offers a mix between clean-lined Scandi design and softer, more organic items to create a harmonious home.
Each box will feature a collection of full-size decor and lifestyle items that support the Nordic design style. The materials are typically natural (stoneware, wood, wool, linen, seagrass, etc.) and consist of a neutral color scheme (grey, white, charcoal, beige). Boxes will typically have a theme that somehow connects to the current season, but the pieces will also work together throughout the year. Items can include blankets, pillows, ceramics, scented candles, votives, art prints, and more.

Let’s see what’s in the April 2022 Norlii Box!
Everything was shipped in a plain brown box with a white & black Norlii sticker in the corner.
A peek inside!
An info booklet revealed the theme of April’s box — “VÅR” — or the Scandinavian word for “Spring”, and provided details on all of the items found within.
Zone Denmark Herb & Sprout Watering Can ($75 value)
Now this is one sleek looking watering can! Zone Denmark is a brand known for its minimalistic Danish designs, which have earned them numerous awards and accolades. The matte black metal watering can above holds up to 25 fl. oz. and is just as beautiful as it is functional. I can say this with much confidence in that fact that it’ll look a LOT more appealing in my home than our current bright green plastic watering can purchased from Ikea many moons ago. 😉
Bloomingville Plant Pots on Stands, Set of 2 ($30 value)
These small black plant pots/stands match the watering can perfectly and are absolutely something I would have purchased on my own. Both are made by Bloomingville, a popular Scandinavian brand established in 2000. They were designed to evoke a raw, almost industrial look that “allows for slight imperfections and adds personality and a relaxed vibe to your decor”. The smaller pot (with stand) measures roughly 7 inches tall, while the larger one is a bit over 8 inches.
Bloomingville x Illume No. 2 Green Gardenia Scented Candle in Steel Votive ($20 value)
Oh, how I LOVE scented candles! The small votive above is a collaboration between Bloomingville and the popular candle company, Illume. The scent of Green Gardenia is described as “watery white florals combined with rich resinous woods”. I’m not normally a big fan of floral scents, but this one is surprisingly subtle and reminds me more of springtime in general. It was made using 100% soy wax and hand-poured into a beautiful silver-plated vessel. Love it!
SisterBrandt “Vår” Print ($5 value)
As mentioned earlier, “Vår” is the Scandinavian word for “spring” — which is exactly what the print above was inspired by. It features a simple image of the edible herb “Sweet Woodruff”, which blooms from May through August. As the print states, it holds its aromatic scent when dried and can be used for crafting green wreaths and flavoring spiced drinks.
Moebe “The Pinch” ($15 value)
Moebe is a Danish design studio who aims to reduce their designs to their most simple forms. The “Pinch” clip above is a prime example of that, consisting of just two pieces of FCS-certified European oak and a single rubber band. It has a small hole for hanging, or simply prop it up on any flat surface to hold a photo, print, dried flower, or anything you’d like to display.
Norlii is clearly an ideal box for anyone who appreciates Scandinavian and Nordic style design. I was very impressed with the quality of every item I received and am more than happy to display them all in my home. The value was also well worth the cost of the box, with all of the products totaling $145! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time, you can save 20% on your first box with coupon code “ROSE20“!
