Love With Food time already?! I can’t believe October is more than halfway over. Cray-zee! Anywhooo, the theme this month is “Monster Mash” and promises some spook-tastic treats.
Love With Food is one of the most affordable subscriptions out there. — It’s only $10/month (plus $2 shipping) for their “Tasting” box (this one). They also have a “deluxe” box for $19.95/month (free shipping), as well as a newer Gluten Free version. With every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need.
“Monster Mash” Info Card
For this month’s info “card” they went for one single fold instead of the tri-fold brochure-y feel of last month’s. I like this layout a lot better. (Though I’m still a fan of the original one-sided cardstock version.)
Inside October’s Love With Food Box
Snapea Crisps by Calbee – I first discovered these yummy crisps in a subscription box a few months ago and I LOVE them! My girls do too. They’re made of real green peas and baked, not fried. They taste like a good-for-you cheese puff. Minus the cheese. Love ’em!
Organic Original Falafel Chips by Flamous – I haven’t gotten a chance to try these yet, but I’m thinking I’ll be a fan. If they taste anything like actual falafel, I’m gonna need to buy more from the Love With Food shop. Mmm… deep fried chickpeas!
Justin’s Almond Butter in Honey and Chocolate – I’ve gotten a million of these (or at least… 5?) in subscription boxes and I’m always happy to see ’em. They’re the perfect size for a sweet little treat or to throw in a smoothie.
Original Cheese Straws by J & M – These cheese straws are inspired by a 100 year old family recipe. They’re made with all natural, non-GMO ingredients including real cheddar cheese and cayenne pepper.
Clairesquares Buttery Shortbread Square – A traditional Irish shortbread square made with just 4 ingredients: wheat flour, butter, sugar, and salt.
Surf Sweets Organic Jelly Beans – These are made with real fruit juice and zero gelatin. Yay! Not a health food by any means, but better than conventional jelly beans anyway.
Cinnamon & Sugar Bananinha Banana Bar – A snack bar made with real bananas, cinnamon, and sugar. I haven’t tried this yet, but it sounds decent enough.
I liked this month’s Love With Food box a lot more than September’s. There were more vegan-friendly goodies and a nice mix of new (to me) brands as well as old favorites.
If you’d like to sign up for Love With Food, they’re currently offering new members their first box for FREE (just pay $2 shipping)! No promo code needed — just click my link! I heard it also takes $10 off of the deluxe box as well!
