Everything was shipped in a plain brown box with a Peaches & Petals sticker on top.
A peek inside!
A floral-themed info card let us know that this is the May 2019 box.
“Totes Adorbs” Tote Bag
This roomy tote features a colorful, abstract art type design and the phrase “Totes Adorbs” printed in black script. It’s constructed of a 70% cotton/30% polyester blend and has an expandable base for extra room. It also has a zipper closure on top, along with a small inner zippered pouch to keep your belongings safe. I don’t love that it has “Payless.com” printed on the back, but I suppose it’s easy enough to hide as long as you’re carrying it design-side out. 😉
Luxe by Mr. Bubble Daydream Shower Crème
I didn’t realize that Mr. Bubble had a “luxe” line… This Sweet & Clean shower crème is made with nourishing shea butter & jojoba oil to moisturize while it cleanses. I really like the fun retro vibes of the packaging, but I can’t say I’m a fan of the second ingredient listed — sodium laureth sulfate, a known skin irritant. That’s not exactly luxe, Mr. Bubble!
Luxe by Mr. Bubble Just a Spritz Sparkling Sorbet Fragrance Mist
Another item from the Luxe by Mr. Bubble line, this “Just a Spritz” fragrance mist features a pretty pink bulb syringe atomizer for a more vintage feel. The scent is described as “a tropical combination of ripe mango, sun-soaked pineapple and juicy peach brightened with citrus zest”. It does smell nice, but I personally prefer a more natural fragrance (mainly essential oil based ones).
“Embrace Messy Hair” Plaque
I’m not really a fan of “plaques” or any type of signage as home decor, so these are the kind of items that immediately go in the donation box. I also don’t really get the whole “messy hair, don’t care” thing that pops up on t-shirts, mugs, etc. — Is it that hard to run a comb through your hair? And if so, why be proud of it? Meh… Clearly I’m not the target market for this one. 😉
Azure Cosmetics Charcoal & Pearl Makeup Cleansing Wipes
These makeup cleansing wipes are made with real charcoal & pearl to help exfoliate and deeply cleanse, removing makeup, dirt, and oils, while moisturizing and rejuvenating your skin. They’re cruelty free, hypoallergenic, paraben-free, and safe for all skin types.
While most of the items weren’t things I’d personally use, May’s Peaches & Petals box still had a decent selection of products that would likely appeal to most subscribers. The value seemed pretty good as well, with most of the items selling on Amazon for an average price of $10 each. Not bad! 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like try Peaches & Petals you can save 10% on your first box with coupon code “PEACH10%”.
