As always, everything was shipped in a plain brown box with a Peaches & Petals sticker on top.
A peek inside!
The theme for September’s box was “Rejuvenate, Relax, Refresh”!
Joy Mangano Water Filter Set ($16.20, Amazon)
You can get fresh, filtered water on the go with this lightweight water filter that neatly folds into a compact, portable case. The set includes a collapsible water filter unit, vented water filter case, BPA-free Tritan water bottle, and 2 carbon replacement filters. Each filter removes 99.6% of sediment along with chlorine, bad taste, and odor. I could’ve seen myself using this at my old day job, as an alternative to bringing in bottled water everyday.
Spongeables Anti-Cellulite Body Wash in a Sponge ($6.65, Amazon)
A “6-in-1 beauty treatment”, this body wash infused sponge cleanses, smooths, massages, firms, moisturizes, and exfoliates your skin in one easy step. It contains seaweed extract and caffeine, which have been said to reduce the appearance of cellulite. To use, simply wet sponge and squeeze until it forms a creamy lather. The soft side cleanses & moisturizes, while the other can be used to massage & exfoliate.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Bath & Shower Gel ($15, Amazon)
This bath and shower gel features a softly foaming, soap-free formula that cleanses without stripping your skin. The scent is an energizing green tea with notes of including citrus lemon, rhubarb, peppermint, oakmoss, musk, and amber. For some reason, it looks like some of the product may be missing (you can see the fill line right at “Elizabeth Arden”. The bottle wasn’t sticky or anything, so I don’t know if that’s just how much is supposed to be in there or what.
Spruce Silicone Wine Glasses ($9.97, Amazon)
I couldn’t find these exact glasses on Amazon, so I linked to a similar set. Each bendy, foldable “glass” can hold 16 ounces of wine or other beverage of your choosing. A nice alternative to actual glass (especially when alcohol is involved 😉 ), these are made of a soft silicone that won’t break or shatter if dropped. They’re also dishwasher and freezer safe.
Body Luxuries Natural Loofah Back Strap ($6.38, Amazon)
Again, I couldn’t find this item on Amazon, but I linked to a product that looks exactly like it. It’s your standard “back strap” loofah that allows you to exfoliate those hard to reach areas like the back, shoulders, and neck.
I can’t say this was really one of my favorite Peaches & Petals boxes to date, but it wasn’t awful. I’m super picky about the skincare items I use, so these highly scented products just weren’t for me. The water filter was cool though and I may end up trying out the back loofah. Using Amazon prices, the total value of this month’s box was just over $50! 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to sign up you can save 10% on your first box with coupon code “PEACH10%”.
