Let’s see what’s in my October 2017 Plum Deluxe shipment!
The teas were shipped in a purple padded envelope via First Class Mail.
An info card revealed October’s featured tea and offered some suggestions on how to enjoy it.
Cinnamon Cider Chai Tea
A perfectly fitting selection for autumn, this flavorful blend features a mix of organic black & rooibos teas, along with apple pieces, ginger, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, orange peel, and apple essence. Though a festive experience on its own, you could also incorporate this tea into a hot buttered rum, hot toddy, or mulled wine. Yum!
House Blend Black Tea
The second offering was a black blend consisting of organic Assam & Ceylon black teas with safflower, blue malva flowers, and vanilla essence. I normally opt for green or herbal teas, but I’ll certainly give this blend a try. After all, the packaging does say that it’s made with “love and gratitude”. It’s hard to say no to something when it’s made with love. 😉
Rainy Day Puerh
October’s sample was “Rainy Day Puerh”, a flavorful blend of organic puerh tea, cinnamon bark, orange peel, ginger root, anise, safflower, and sweet cinnamon. Another nice selection for autumn!
A nice sampling of premium teas from Plum Deluxe! I love that all of their blends are made with high quality, organic ingredients and are all vegan-friendly. My favorite selections this month were the autumn-inspired Cinnamon Cider Chai and Rainy Day Puerh. 🙂
