February 2017 Pop Shop America review time!
If you haven’t heard, Pop Shop America is a craft fair/art festival that welcomes over 25,000 attendees per year — and they now offer monthly subscription boxes as well! There are currently 3 different box options to choose from, with more on the way: The T-Shirt box (includes a cool indie designed t-shirt), Handmade Jewelry (includes 2 pieces of homemade jewelry), and Earring of the Month (includes earrings and other goodies). Pop Shop America collaborates with hundreds of designers across the country to bring you unique handmade pieces. If you have a particular style that you prefer, just let them know and they’ll curate a box specific to your tastes.
Subscriptions start at $19/month for the Earring box, and $24/month for T-Shirt and Jewelry boxes.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Let’s see what’s in my February 2017 Pop Shop America Handmade Jewelry Box!
Everything was shipped in a small white box via First Class mail.
A peek inside!
A colorful info card listed all of the items in the box, along with a total retail value.
Coral & Sterling Sideways Necklace
Once again, the packaging couldn’t be any cuter! — Unicorn & heart stickers, come on! 😉 I was happy to see yet another silver necklace (not a fan of gold). While not quite as awesome as last month’s terrarium necklace, this is still neat. It features a horizontal bar of four coral colored beads strung on a sterling silver chain. The chain itself could use a little polishing, but that’s to be expected with real silver so no biggie.
Simple Blue Sea Glass Necklace
It was hard to get a photo that showed just how pretty the color of this necklace is… I put it against my ridiculously pale wrist so you can see the contrast, but it’s still a lot more vibrant in person. I actually wish it was a tad bit longer (or shorter) so that I could wear it as a bracelet, but it’s just too loose.
Hi Kawaii Kitten Enamel Pin
A sweet little enamel pin featuring a white and gold kitten design. While I’m not a fan of actual cats, I do like their non-living counterparts. Okay, that kinda made me sound like I’m into dead cats… I like cat things. That’s better. 😉
Magnets
Two different magnets were included — a rectangular one featuring a woodland creature/cupcake/guitar/necklace(?!) design, and a small circular Pop Shop Houston Handmade Design Fair one.
Bubbles
Because who doesn’t like bubbles… I know my kids will be bugging me to use these ASAP. 🙂
Pins
Two more pins — a Pink Kitten Collectible Pin and a Diversity Pin — were also included in February’s box.
Another fun collection of unique items from Pop Shop America! I wasn’t able to find the prices for any of the pieces online, but according to the info card everything in February’s box was valued at $48. Not bad for a $24 box! 🙂
