Pop Shop America is a craft fair/art festival that welcomes over 25,000 attendees per year — and they now offer monthly subscription boxes as well!
There are currently 3 different box options to choose from, with more on the way: The T-Shirt box (includes a cool indie designed t-shirt), Handmade Jewelry (includes 2 pieces of homemade jewelry), and Earring of the Month (includes earrings and other goodies). Pop Shop America collaborates with hundreds of designers across the country to bring you unique handmade pieces. If you have a particular style that you prefer, just let them know and they’ll curate a box specific to your tastes.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions start at $19/month for the Earring box, and $24/month for T-Shirt and Jewelry boxes.
Let’s see what’s in my January 2017 Pop Shop America Handmade Jewelry Box!
Everything was shipped in a small white box via First Class mail.
A peek inside! — Lovely presentation. 🙂
There wasn’t an info card, but they did include a couple offers and a cute Pop Shop America sticker.
I loved that all of the items were individually packaged and couldn’t wait to see what was inside of this little envelope. The only information I gave them was that I preferred silver jewelry and mostly wore necklaces.
Long Terrarium with Cupid’s Arrow Necklace ($34)
How freakin’ cool is this necklace?! I absolutely LOVE it. This piece was handmade in Texas and features a 1 & 1/2 inch long sealed terrarium with green moss and a brass cupid’s arrow nestled inside. It’s strung on a 24″ sterling silver chain that’s long enough to slip over your head, with the pendant laying right over your heart. I think this has to be one of my favorite pieces of jewelry that I’ve ever gotten in a subscription box. 😀
The prettiest little parcel!
What are you hiding in there, kitten??
Rings!
Silver Ring Trio
I wasn’t able to find these rings on the Pop Shop America site, so I’m not sure if they’re sterling or not. I’m also not sure which way they’re supposed to be worn, so it’s entirely possible that some of them are upside-down in the photo above. — I believe they’re intended to be midi rings, but I did just manage to slip the little arrow one all the way down my pinkie, so I could be wrong on that too. 😉
Piece… of… Wood?
Nope. Can’t say I know what this is. If it didn’t have a bow on it, I would have thought it was dropped in by mistake. It does kind of have a light scent to it, so… A natural air freshener? Ha. I honestly have no clue.
Mystery wood aside, I really enjoyed my Pop Shop America jewelry box. The terrarium necklace was absolutely perfect and something I would have totally bought on my own. Plus, that piece alone more than pays for the cost of the box. 🙂
