Let’s see what’s in the February 2019 Postmark’d PostBox!
Everything was shipped in a small white box with a Postmark’d Studio logo on top.
A peek inside!
All boxes come with a little hand-written note from the founder, but this month she switched things up and included a sweet donut-themed Valentine’s Day card. Cute!
A 2-sided info card revealed the theme for February’s PostBox — “Donut Forget to Write”. It also listed all of the cards included, along with the artists who made them. The reverse side of the info card provided information about a project/website dedicated to sending love letters and how you can get involved.
February’s cards were all neatly stacked together and secured with a pretty pink ribbon.
Better Together Pepper Pop/Philadelphia, PA
Coffee & donuts — the perfect duo! This adorable card from Pepper Pop Paper features a fun 3D-ish effect thanks to the 100% handmade coffee cup and donut cut-outs adhered with a thick backing to make them “pop”. The card is blank inside and is paired with a brown kraft envelope.
Donut Know a. favorite design/Chicago, IL
Located in Chicago, a. favorite design’s mission is to encourage long distance warm fuzzies through snail mail. The sweet (no pun intended 😉 ) card above is a great way to let someone know how much they mean to you. The donut’s white & red sprinkles (with hearts!) and pink frosting make it perfect for Valentine’s Day, but it can easily be sent — and appreciated — any time of the year.
Donut Worry The Social Type/Los Angeles, CA
I don’t think it’s possible to read the text on this card without hearing it in Bobby McFerrin’s voice. 😉 I also don’t think it’s possible for the recipient of this card to not smile upon opening it. Rainbow sprinkles, metallic gold accents and a donut pun — all tucked inside a bright pink envelope… It’s happiness in the form of stationery!
A Dozen Ink Meets Paper/Charleston, SC
Let someone know how much you appreciate their hard work with this donut-themed letterpress card from Ink Meets Paper. It features a dozen pink frosted donuts with the phrase “You deserve a dozen!” printed below. Cute!
Donuts Lili Graffiti/Montreal, Canada
Another dozen donuts! — This time they’re in assorted flavors and various stages of consumption. 😉 Use this colorful postcard to send a quick hello to a sweets-loving friend.
Donut Washi Tape
I really need to search Pinterest for some cool uses for washi tape because I’m starting to build a nice little collection of it, thanks to subscription boxes. This donut-themed roll is definitely my new favorite!
Gel Pens
Also included in this month’s box was a set of seven .05mm gel pens. My daughters go through markers, gel pens, and pretty much any writing instrument at a crazy rate, so I know exactly where these are going.
Vintage Postage Stamps
February’s box included a variety of differently themed vintage postage stamps, along with two Love Forever stamps issued last month.
Postmark’d Studio Postcard & Pencil
As always, a thick/sturdy Postmark’d Studio postcard and pencil were also included.
Yet another thoughtfully put together collection of cards & stationery goodies from PostBox! The donut theme was adorable and perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 40% on your 1st box when you sign up for a 3-month subscription! — Just use coupon code “2LRB404ME” at checkout.
