Let’s see what’s in the July 2018 Postmark’d PostBox!
Everything was shipped in a small white box with a Postmark’d Studio logo on top.
A peek inside!
All boxes come with a hand-written note from the founder. Such a nice touch!
A 2-sided info card revealed the theme for July’s PostBox — “I Scream, You Scream”! It also listed all of the cards included, along with the artists who made them. The reverse side of the info card let subscribers know that July is “National Ice Cream Month” and featured a list of ice cream fun facts & letter writing prompts.
As always, the items were all neatly stacked together and secured with a pretty ribbon.
Life’s Sweeter With You Ladybug Press/Boise, ID
This brightly colored letterpress card just screams “summertime”! It features a fun rainbow popsicle watercolor design with the words “Life’s Sweeter With You” printed beneath in red ink. The coordinating sunshine yellow envelope adds an extra dose of cheer.
Happy Birthday ColorBox Letterpress/Dallas, TX
Send a gift card in style with the help of this adorable ice cream themed greeting card! The 5″ x 7″ design has built-in slots that hold a small blue envelope for you to enclose your gift. Once removed, the word “Enjoy” can be found hidden beneath the envelope. It also comes with an incredibly cute illustrated outer envelope to mail it in.
Melt Away Lana’s Shop/Denver, Co
I LOVE the colors used for this delicious-looking little card! Plus — sprinkles! (Can’t ever go wrong with sprinkles.) A line-up of yummy treats is paired with hand-lettered pink text that reads: “You make my problems melt away”. The white envelope lined with pink watercolor stripes just adds to the adorableness.
Orange You the Coolest Lucky Horse Press/New Jersey
Tell your pal just how cool you think they are with this retro-inspired card from Lucky Horse Press. It features an orange creamsicle on a deep blue (nighttime sky?) background with the words “Orange you the coolest” printed in white ink. It’s blank inside and comes with a matching bright orange envelope.
You’re My Flavorite Wishbone Letterpress/Kingston, NY
It’s not nice to pick favorites, but no one said anything about flavorites. 😉 Tell someone how extra special you think they are by sending them this colorful card from Wishbone Letterpress. It comes with a brown kraft paper envelope and a little bonus too — a hot pink ice cream cone shaped paperclip!
Ice Cream Sandwich CardsbyRachelAlana/California
A summer-themed postcard to send for just about any occasion, or just to say hello. It features an illustration of the classic Neapolitan ice cream sandwich filled with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream. Yum!
Ice Cream Truck We Heart Confetti/Netherlands
Another postcard to send “just because”, this one is adorned with a pretty watercolor print of an ice cream truck with the phrase “The only running I do is after the ice cream truck babe”. I personally could have done with the “babe” at the end, but otherwise I’m a fan. 😉
Ice Lolly Notes
How fun are these sticky notes?! First, the packaging is designed to resemble that of a real ice cream bar/pop (I had to tear it open). Second, the popsicle “stick” is actually a mini pencil. Too freakin’ CUTE! There are a total of 1000’s tiny notes, each measuring 1.3 inches in diameter. Use them as page markers, (very) short notes, and more.
Postage
Enough postage was provided to mail 6 greeting cards (there were 2 more on the back of one of the strips above). Not only did these ice cream stamps go perfectly with this month’s theme… but they were also SCRATCH ‘N SNIFF!! 😀 Too cool.
Postmark’d Studio Postcard & Pencil
As always, a thick/sturdy Postmark’d Studio postcard and pencil were also included.
I absolutely adored July’s ice cream themed PostBox! The cards were all so bright & cheerful and the ice pop sticky notes were such a fun addition. Oh, and scratch n’ sniff stamps? Come on! So awesome. 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 40% on your 1st box when you sign up for a 3-month subscription! — Just use coupon code “2LRB404ME” at checkout.
