Let’s see what’s in the June 2018 Postmark’d PostBox!
Everything was shipped in a small white box with a Postmark’d Studio logo on top.
A peek inside!
All boxes come with a hand-written note from the founder. Such a nice touch!
A 2-sided info card revealed the theme for June’s PostBox — “Backyard BBQ”! It also listed all of the cards included, along with the artists who made them. The reverse side of the info card let subscribers know about “Mr. Thank You” and his mission to express gratitude to 1% of the world’s population via hand-written thank you cards.
As always, the items were all neatly stacked together and secured with a pretty ribbon.
Summer BBQ Hartford Prints/Hartford, CT
Kick of the summer season by sending your first BBQ invite with this fun card from Hartford Prints. It features an illustrated “list” of summertime essentials for a BBQ, day at the beach, camping trip, and more. It’s blank inside and comes with a dark navy envelope.
Franks A Lot Violet Press and Paper/Longmont, CO
This adorable letterpress card gives you a chance to express your gratitude with a little help from a cheerful, retro-inspired hot dog. The card reads “Franks a lot!”, and is of course a silly reference to frankfurters. (Though I’m totally telling myself he’s a veggie dog. 😉 )
Friendship Like This is Rare Oh Hi/New Orleans, LA
Okay, so I can’t say this card is very vegan-friendly, but I can appreciate a good pun nonetheless. The original design is printed on high quality paper and comes with a brown kraft envelope.
Summer Grillin’ Hazelmade/Kent, OH
Another card that would make a great BBQ invite, this one features a hand-drawn illustration of a bright red grill, hot dog, and hamburger with all the fixin’s. It was flat press printed with high quality paper & ink and comes with a kraft envelope & gold closure sticker.
Let’s Catch Up T.o.Y. Soap/San Francisco, CA
How neat is this little gift set from T.o.Y. Soap? It includes a 4×6 postcard, a bar of artisan soap, and a wooden soap dish. Too cool! While it would certainly make a fun hostess gift, I’m totally keeping it for myself. 😉 The rosemary-scented cocoa butter smells amazing and is (thankfully) vegan-friendly!
Matchstick Notelets
These mini sticky “notelets” measure about 2 inches by 2 inches and are housed in a fun matchbook-style pad. These are great for jotting down quick notes and definitely won’t take up too much room in your pocket/bag. 😉
Ant Gift Tags Lana’s Shop/Denver, CO
These cute picnic-inspired gift tags are printed with three hand-drawn trails of ants marching to their next free meal. They come complete with natural twine, making them all ready to attach to your gift.
Pigma Micron .08 Pen
Also included was a fine-tip pen with archival quality ink. It’s waterproof, fade resistant, and won’t smear, feather or bleed-through on most papers.
Postage
Enough postage was provided to mail 4 greeting cards. There was a pretty random mix this month, but I LOVE the Mister Rogers one!
Postmark’d Studio Postcard & Pencil
As always, a thick/sturdy Postmark’d Studio postcard and pencil were also included.
Despite some of the meat themed cards, I think June’s PostBox was one of my favorites yet. There were just so many fun items and I LOVE the unexpected inclusion of rosemary-scented bar soap! 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time when you sign up for a 3-month plan you’ll get $5.00 off your 1st box and receive a FREE “Farmers Market” Special Delivery Box! — Just use coupon code “2LRBSUMMER” at checkout.
